I have been a patient at Island Ohana Dental for about 10 years. Around 2009 I was a new patient with multiple dental issues which eventually resulted in many office visits.
I rely on Dr. Garret Uehara and his most competent Staff for my dental care because of their consistent professionalism and their positive attitude which inspire a harmonious and comfortable environment for patients.
Within reason; I find Dr. Uehara and his Staff genuinely caring, accommodating and flexible. Oh..and by the way; Dr. Garret Uehara gives the least painful anesthetic injection ever!

I went in for teeth cleaning today. Janice, the dental hygienist, was EXCELLENT! There's no other word for her technique, her efficiency and her friendly personality. Dr. Garrett was excellent as always.

Great place to go. Very pleased with how clean everything is and how friendly the staff are. The only reason I couldn’t put the last star was the availability of care. Doing the x-rays and cleaning in the same visit would be better than making two separate appointments.

My crown came off of my tooth yesterday afternoon and the office got me in first thing the next morning. All off the staff were courteous and professional and Dr Nestor was great! I felt I received prompt and excellent service! Mahalo!!

I love ohana dental but the hygenist I had yesterday was so rough and totally killed my gums and teeth. It was so painful. It still hurts today. I never had cleaning done like that before. Talk about pain and discomfort.

I had my very first filling here and it was an awesome experience! The staff is so friendly and were very attentive to my concerns. The anesthetic shot (usually the worst part) was virtually painless and I only felt like a small prick.

came to get a tooth sealed after a root canal, they scheduled a crowning of the tooth WITHOUT consulting either me or my endodontist that performed the root canal. I was not informed I was getting a crown until I was in the chair. when I objected I was KICKED OUT and received a phone call later telling me I was not allowed to come back. I asked my endodontist and he said he was never informed they planned this procedure and in fact said I SHOULDN'T get a crown on the tooth in question.
