Good experience that caught issues missed by previous dentist. Friendly staff that puts up with my need for flexible scheduling. Just with they were open at their Lakeview office everyday!

The staff is friendly and very professional from the moment you walk in and throughout your appointment. Paulina was very helpful! Definitely will be coming again!

Dr. Daftary, Dr. Al-Sabek, Breanne, Sheri, Lori, every single person who I’ve interacted with while receiving treatment at Art of Modern Dentistry is friendly, professional, and courteous.

I hadn’t gone to the dentist in 3 years and was TERRIFIED of going but Dr. Daftary and her staff made me feel welcome, confident, and most importantly safe. They talked me through every step of the way, and gave me the hard love that I so desperately needed to get my dental hygiene back on track.

They were so accommodating in working with my schedule (even when I had to delay a crown filling until the New Year due to my FSA limit), and both facilities (Southport and S. Michigan) are bleeding edge (even if your gums aren’t!).

I left my most recent visit with a polymer bonded porcelain crown and not only learned why they were applying Aluminum Oxide to my gums (to reduce inflammation), but also about ATP Synthesis, the origins of the periodic table, and context for the conflict in Iran.

I cannot recommend them enough but I will say that I have experienced a modest wait during my appointments due to how busy the are but luckily they have a fantastic lobby!

Art of modern dentistry is an amazing place to get your teeth cleaned! Dr. Daftary is wonderful and funny. They have the best financial experts to help you get the treatment you need. I would recommend their services to my family and friends!

If I could give 0 star review, I totally would! I scheduled a first time appointment for an exam with them and have been told that it’s going to be free of charge, I was pregnant at that time and they were aware of that because I told them over the phone. When I came to see the doctor I waited for about 30 min past my appointment while doctor was casually chatting with someone for a pretty long time, when finally I was called doctor told me that she can’t tell me anything about my teeth, she needs to do an x-ray but she can’t because she needs permission from my OB/gyn. The whole appointment was about 5 min, they charged my insurance and additionally they charged my credit card $90 few months later! Don’t ever make my mistake, don’t leave your credit card information! I tried to call them but they act all innocent and talk to me as it’s all my fault. Would not recommend this place! Stay away! They will rip you off!

No privacy....shared space with other clients in the examination rooms. Didnt feel comfortable. Rush u to do expensive treatment . They make you feel like you are doomed if u don't do it now. I didn't have any cavities. They said i had plaque under my gums and needed deep cleaning . I didn't notice or feel any different. I brush and floss 2-3 times a day.

Paulina is really helpful and explained everything clearly. Would recommend for any and all needs.
