My son has gone to this dentist for around 5 years. He has seen 3 different dentists and in the beginning it was fine. Lately the dentists have been hounding him about about getting root canals. Insurance does not cover about $1300 of each one so asked them to give us other options. Never received any other options. Then lately when he's been going they continue to hound him about root canals. After they called this morning for confirmation I asked very politely to not hound him about his root canals. After I was done she hung up on me. I called back canceled the app and and told them I'm taking my son elsewhere. If your not polite on the phone then I certainly will not have you working on my sons mouth whom by the way has Autism. VERY RUDE SERVICE
I just noticed also that they respond to positive feedback and somewhat negative feedback but anything relating to rudeness is ignored or offer to retrain. Can't change rude people.

Dr. Bhow and her assistant Ashley were absolutely amazing! Being a difficult patient due to my own anxiety 😉 they both were wonderful at making me feel comfortable and relaxed. Great friendly staff all around. Beautiful new office!

It has been decades since I went to a dentist and from my first visit the staff here has been so great and informative! They are understanding when I have anxiety about things and completely put my mind at ease about all procedures! Shelley did my deep cleaning she is the BEST! So sweet and answered all my questions and gave me great advice on how to maintain my oral health. Dr. Bhow removed two wisdom teeth for me and I couldn’t believe how fast and effectively she did it! Zero pain and she popped them right out like it was effortless! I look forward to continuing to keep up on my visits with this office!

I have been going to this dentist for about three to five years at this point in time. Today, I went for a normal six month cleaning and to receive a estimate for something like Invisalign as I was informed that this location had teeth straightening options similar or equivalent to Invisalign. I showed up on time for my appointment but had to wait for 30 minutes in the lobby which was okay. I honestly did not mind it. What was not okay was the employee who took my X-Rays. The employee clearly had not been trained properly or was new to the job. If you are unsure of how to practice something in any kind of medical field then it is better to not practice at all. Next, started the teeth cleaning and I have never shed tears during a teeth cleaning but today I did. AS I SIT HERE TYPING NEARLY 12 HOURS LATER, MY TEETH AND GUMS STILL HURT. I have never experienced a dental assistant so forceful and overly expeditious that my teeth or gums hurt (although I am only 20 years old). On top of that, in the form that I filled out I made it a point to check that my gums were sensitive when it came to flossing. It was very evident that the assistant wanted me out of there as quickly as possible and was unworried whether or not the job was done correctly. The utter lack of concern for an individual is disheartening and disgusts me. IN MY WHOLE VISIT I NEVER SAW OR SPOKE TO AN ACTUAL DENTIST. I ONLY SPOKE TO DENTAL ASSISTANTS. Now, my insurance is going to be billed for seeing a dentist that I never actually saw! OH! I almost forgot too. The teeth straightening service that I was told TWICE that was offered wasn't actually a service that was offered. In fact the McHenry Dentist does not offer any according to the employee that did my "cleaning." If the employee's at McHenry dentist are reading this I want you to put yourself in my shoes and think about how you would feel if your mouth hurt as badly as mine did due to a regular cleaning.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The entire staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They work hard to accommodate you and work to fit your schedule as far as getting you into appointments when you need. My children who are toddlers love going to them too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From us 😀

Not the best experience. The teeth cleaning seemed subpar, I couldve gotten the same results from brushing and flossing myself. Dr. Milrud was not very friendly, she spoke in a way that seemed condescending. Luckily my insurance covered everything, but I would rather pay out of pocket than go to a dental office where they aren't friendly and I cannot rely on them for a good cleaning let alone any other more serious procedures.
Edit: The X-Ray tech was super nice and made an effort to make me feel comfortable.

My kids have been coming here and we have had no issues with the dentist's here. The kids are comfortable enough to go back and do their thing without us. They have had a couple cavities filled and have been 100% comfortable!! Very happy with our experience!
