Heritage Grove Family Dental - Plainfield Dental Clinic

(I'm trying to rate this as 5 stars, but its not letting me) I have been a patient of Dr. Gallos for over 13 years, since he was practicing at another location. The level of professionalism from he and his hygienists/ assistants is unheard of. They do excellent work and their services are among the most affordable in the area. Carmen, in particular sticks out for me as she was my primary hygenist during my braces years as a child. The people here really do make you feel like family and there's nothing more anyone would want from a Dentist Office.

Jessica is an amazing hygienist! (Yes, same name as me but not me! Hah) My husband went here before I did and he recommended it to me! I'm Soo happy to have found a dentist in the area that I like. They are strictly adhering to covid guidelines with n-95s and then additional masks on top while cleaning. Anyway, it was a pleasure to come here and the doctor was fabulous as well! 🦷

Dr Pete is a FANTASTIC dentist. He takes care of me, my husband and our children. I've never had a bad experience with him. He had to pull a difficult tooth of mine. Not only was he very patient with me, he made sure that I was comfortable as well. When I went home, he even called later to check on me. His assistants are awesome and so are the hygienists! From the reception staff all the way to the chair, you feel like family. His entire staff go out their way to accommodate you! I had other dentists that were absolutely horrible, but Dr Pete blows them out the water by far! I would recommend him with 10 stars if I could! - Shanita T.

We had a GREAT experience for our son's first dental appt. The dental hygienist, Nancy, was so good with him and made us all very comfortable. Dr Gallos gave us some great tips and even told us what we can expect down the road based on his exam today. Highly recommend to anyone, for themselves or their children.

After a few failed attempts to find a dental practice that could provide the care I need. I made my first visit to Heritage Grove Family Dental was friendly, impressive and productive. Dr. Gallos and his staff, especially Carmen....were warm and caring. They explained every part of the procedure performed and the reason for every thing they did.

My family and I have been patients here for years. Recently they have changed their in-network companies they work with so now United Healthcare is out of network so I am having to find another dentist. Fine. But now just to email over a digital copy of my X-rays to the new dentist they charge me a fee! What? My insurance already paid for those xrays and they charge me to send over digital copies? This place has gotten way too over booked to where we had to book the 6 month cleanings a year out. During covid they were the only place that also charged patients for them using PPE(masks, gloves, etc). Plenty of other dentists out there that don’t need to nickel and dime you.

i chose Heritage Grove Family Dental based on the great reviews I read, and I’m happy to report that the reviews were accurate! I tried to make an appointment for an exam and cleaning and initially I was advised that I wouldn’t be able to get an appointment until April 2020 (which was 8 months away)! I was given the option to be placed on the waiting list, and I agreed to do rhat. Luckily, they were able to fit me in the next day.

Everything about the practice is first class - the facility is beautiful, modern, and clean. The office staff is polite and efficient and my hygienist was super professional, really nice, and very thorough - she did a great job. Dr. Gallos was very attentive and personable. I plan to get a dental implant next year, and I definitely want him to do that and all of my other dental work!

Unfortunately managed to knock my front tooth loose with a piece of metal tubing this weekend. I called Heritage Grove Family Dental and was directed by the voicemail to call Dr. Gallos directly if it’s an emergency.

He actually answered on a Saturday and took the time to hear my problem, look over pictures of the tooth I sent him and assess what needed to be done until I could see him in person. Talk about going way above and beyond for ones patients.... How often can someone call their doctor for advice after hours and be helped like that? Not often I bet. It truly is amazing how much he genuinely cares and appreciates his patients. HIGHLY recommend him for anyone in need of Dentist in the Chicagoland area. His outstanding care, knowledge and approach to dental work set him apart from the rest for the better.

I recently moved to Plainfield and was in search of a new dentist. I am one who puts off going to the dentist because I am very uncomfortable with the pain that always seems associated with the dentist. I happened across Dr. Gallos and have been very pleasantly surprised. His office is very professional and up to date. The staff are very all pleasant and Dr. Gallos himself is wonderful. He has great chair side manner, he explains everything he is doing, listens and is great at what he does. I highly recommend him and his staff!
