From routing cleanings, to preventative dentistry, to fixing cavities and other dental needs, Lawson Family DDS provides consistent, caring and customer-centered dental services.
I have undergone a number of personal health-related changes since 2011. While undergoing lifestyle changes to assist in losing weight (-70+ pounds since 2011) I needed to reevaluate my previously diagnosed sleep apnea (diagnosed in 2009). With a massive amount of weight loss since 2011, I was ready to be reevaluated, wanted to get rid of the cumbersome C-PAP machine and was looking for solutions. In 2013, Dr. Lawson stepped forward to educate me in my options of dental appliances vs. C-PAP. I left with clear understanding as to what my options were. She and her staff then assisted with a new sleep study to ensure that I was a good candidate and fortunately I was. After consultation Dr. Lawson provided me a solution that met my needs in a SomnoMed dental appliance.
Now, three years later, I am still using the SomnoMed dental appliance as a means to treat a minor level of sleep apnea. I don't leave home without it, nor do I sleep at night without using my SomnoMed. In addition, I have been a customer of Lawson Family DDS since 2011, have referred multiple people to Dr. Lawson's office and look forward to continuing to do all of that in the future.

I just called to make an appointment as a new patient. This was for a simple cleaning witb no dental issues. The receptionist was nice and she spent 6 minutes on the phone with me taking all of my information - name, phone number, medical history and insurance info (including group & policy number). After jokingly telling me "your healthy as a horse!'", I was then told the office is not taking any new patients at this time. I asked her, if that was the case, why did she take all of my information? I feel as if I should have been told this at the beginning of the conversation. She responded with "oh, thats just our policy".
I don't understand this policy. My time was waisted and I'm left feeling like I somehow didn't make 'the cut' after being interviewed.
