They made me feel like they really cared about my needs. I loved the Dentist as well as the Dental Hygienist. She was super nice and did a wonderful job at keeping me relaxed and calm during the appointment.

I have had a full upper and partial lower denture placed. I am very pleased with the outcome. The staff has worked with this coward and I am sure I have been a challenge at times but I have been treated with respect and consideration. I highly recommend Family & Implant Dentistry!

My first appointment at Family & Implant Dentistry ranked as the lower customer service experience I have ever received. I was referred to the dentist office by a fellow employee but would never recommend them to anyone. The office staff and dental assistants were very courteous and willing to help but the financial adviser alone caused a horrible customer service experience. She was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to discuss how my dental insurance would be covered by their office. I left their office without receiving any procedures because I was so appalled with her attitude and lack of customer service skills. The financial adviser alone created a bad name for the Family & Implant Dentistry and caused me and my staff to never continue business with them.

Left today very disappointed. Had agreed on a plan for my 4 yr old's crown at the last visit with Dr. Snowden and it was clearly articulated that we would not elect nitrous and that I would accompany her for the procedure. This was agreed on before scheduling the procedure. We show up today for the procedure and doc sends up an assistant to let me know I would not be allowed back. It feels like we were duped to get scheduled, then went back on their word. If it's office "policy", don't lie to get me scheduled at the consult and waste our time by going back on the agreement when it comes procedure time. I don't treat my patients that way, and it's not the way I expect to be treated either. We will be taking our family dentistry needs elsewhere.

Extremely disappointed. I went there with a referral and all the X-rays from MATC because I had a cavity in one of my teeth. First, they said that they need to do a assessment and to do that they need to take their own X-rays. For that they charged $28. Then the doctor just had a few-second look at my tooth and gave me a quotation of $2555 for the full treatment. I am well aware that dental services are too expensive in US, so I do not have any issues with the amount they mentioned even though I can't afford that sum of money. The real problem was, they charged another 68 bucks just to tell me that.

In short, I had to pay $96 out of my pocket (since I don't have any dental insurance) but did nothing to my tooth.

Beware!!! My son, a KSU student, went to this office for a normal dental cleaning. He asked if they accepted Delta Dental of KS for insurance and they said yes. He went for his cleaning and they "upsold" him on getting a flouride treatment even though he is 21 years old. He was told that insurance would not cover that and so he paid for that out of pocket the day of service. He was told "that is all you will owe for." 3 weeks later, we receive a bill in the mail for additional costs even though our insurance plan covers cleanings at 100%. I called and spoke with Tammy in the insurance and billing department. She advised that I contact my insurance to see what the problem might be. After speaking to insurance I was informed that this office is a "Premier Provider" so the benefits only pay at 80%. So when I called to question Tammy as to why this was not said to my son when he asked about accepting Delta insurance and I asked why they told him he would not owe for anything more than the flouride treatment, she immediately got very defensive. She told me that my communication was angry and that if I wanted them to "gift" this amount we "owed" then I should have just said that. I told her that I believed it was their responsibility to inform patients what their insurance covers when specifically asked if they take that patients insurance. Not being up front and honest about the fact that they are a different level of provider is shady and dishonest. She told me they would credit my son's account for the amount owed. Conversation done. Or so I thought...she then immediately called my son and told him that because "your mom was very very very upset we will gift this to you." Not until a second phone call back to Tammy and a lot of giving me the "run around" and excuses as to why she said the things she said, including attempting to tell me that she did not tell my son they were gifting this because I was upset and why the office operates in this shady and dishonest way, did she finally admit that they were in the wrong. Her customer service skills are basically non existant and not until the end of the second conversation where I was very direct about the fact that I was going to give them a poor review online did she apologize. The entire time, she had all the excuses in the world and said that this was not their mistake and that they were doing us some sort of "favor" for them to credit the bill. This is not the kind of business I want for my family's dentist needs. Your customer service and the skills and talent of your Dr's should sell your business to the public and make them want to be your customer which in turn will make you money and your business succesful, not shady and dishonest ways of billing for more money once the customer has already received services. We will never go back to this office and I caution anyone with a KSU student to not send their son or daughter to this office.

Edited to add: There is nothing confusing about insurance coverage that is very straight forward. It was not a misunderstanding...it was a blantant disregard for the truth and terrible customer service when questioned about it.

So far I am loving it here. The staff seems nice and when I got my teeth clean I didn’t feel like I was drowning like my last hygienist. The dentist was very nice. I already know I need my teeth fix it’s just expensive and it was nice for him not to point it out like I don’t look at myself everyday. If anything happens I will be updating this.

I have been going to Family and Implant Dentistry for 20 years. I started going there while in college and now my four kids go there as well. It’s a wonderful and friendly environment for adults and kids. Everyone from the front desk to the doctors are extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend Family and Implant Dentistry for the whole family.

Dr. Walker and Dr. Snowden are the best! Our entire family receives excellent care from them. Their staff is super friendly the minute you walk in the door. They always seem to run close to my scheduled time which I appreciate. Highly recommend.
