I've been going to Legacy Dental for over 20 years and couldn't recommend it more. The hygienists are personable and do a fantastic, thorough job. Before he retired Dr. Wismer was one of the kindest individuals I have met and I always enjoyed the bit of time he spent with me during my appointments. Although Wismer is no longer there, Dr. Vodonick seems to be cut from the same cloth and I certainly will continue coming back. Newly renovated and conveniently located, Legacy Dental can't be beat.

Legacy Dental came highly recommended to me. Now that I've been there a few times I understand why. Becky at the front desk is a complete joy to deal with and Dr. Vodonick and Ashley both make the cleaning and check up comfortable and pleasant. They really know their stuff. Hands down, the best dentist office in KC.

Dr. Vodonik is an excellent dentist, and is very detail oriented. That is a very good quality for a dentist.
The front office staff lacks good communication and follow up. I arrived at the appointed time to the parking lot and called to notify them of my arrival. They said to wait and they would call “right back” on when to come into the waiting room. After 10 minutes I called back because no return call was received. My impression from this second conversation was they forgot about me. The explanation was an emergency visit was being handled an it would be another 20 minutes. Emergencies happen and there is no complaint about the appointment being pushed back 30 - 45 minutes. The problem is the office knew this was happening and could have/should have notified me before I came to the appointment, and certainly should have explained the delay with my first call.
The dentist is excellent, the office staff must still be in training.

Having the work for a dental crown is NOT fun. That's the nature of the beast. But Dr. Nguyen and his chairside assistant (sorry Ashley? Angela? I apologize for my memory lapse) were pleasant and caring and efficient and did their best to keep me relaxed and at ease. The crown went in easily and feels fine. Thank you.

Really enjoyed today at this new Dentist. I filled out paperwork and it wasn't an annoying amount. There was no waiting! I walked right back and got my teeth cleaned. They also didn't refer me to some guy they played golf with for a procedure I didn't need. They were honest, friendly,and efficient.

Got a crown and cleaning in same day and had great service. Doctors and Assistants are very welcoming and make sure you know everything up front including your insurance coverage! They have the latest technology which makes things run smoother
