Dr. Kapoor, her assistants and the office staff have done excellent work each time I have come in for a visit. I had an especially tricky root canal done there. While a number of shortcuts could have been taken along the way, I appreciate the fact that the doctor did not settle for any of these quick fixes, but went above and beyond to make sure that she has done the right thing for me and for my long-term dental health. Everyone on the staff is warm and personable. I am very happy with my experience at Monticello, and will continue to give them my business.

I have had lots of dental work... I hate flossing and love hard candy. So I’ve had my share of cavities over the years and these last two that were filled at Monticello Family Dental were the quickest and least painful I can remember. They did a phenomenal job numbing my teeth, which is pretty difficult being a red head and I was in and out in an hour. Their teamwork was flawless and they seem to be running like a well oiled machine given the Current circumstances. Highly recommend.

A few weeks ago I had a consultation with Monticello dentistry. There was initially a very huge mix up about the insurance. They said they took it pre appointment but then said they didn't when I arrived. It was just a mix up and once we had everything confirmed we began our exam. I had some pretty bad tooth pain at this point which is why I made the appointment. Everyone was respectful and made me feel comfortable. However I felt as though they did not do their best to resolve my issue. They found a small cavity and told me they wanted to fill it but couldn't because I needed a deep cleaning that they said would cost me $1,730. My insurance would only cover a small fraction of that if any at all. We discussed treatment and payment plans but I ended up leaving with no work done and my tooth still hurting and also no meds for the pain. Fast forward to today and I have been in the emergency room in the middle of the night in severe pain pretty much constantly over the past couple days and I've had to go to an emergency dentist on Saturday to get a very expenaive root canal. A huge disgrace to have had professionals tell me what was wrong and how they could fix it for them not to in order to perform a huge sales pitch of this "scaling and root planing" or deep cleaning. Whatever you want to callit...I needed help and relief from my pain and they did not want to help me. Needless to say I will not be coming back ever in a million years although they were eager to schedule the filling after the fact. Stop trying to sell treatment plans and maybe act like you care about your patients maybe?
