Great dentist. If you do not have dental insurance they have a worthwhile plan that includes regular cleanings and also one emergency visit a year. It gives you a percentage off procedures as well.

This was my fourth time going to My Frederick Dentist and it was not great. The other three experiences were fine. Went in for two fillings this time. Needed novocaine and the one of the shots hurt so bad I jumped and said something. I’ve had numerous fillings in the past and the novocaine has not hurt like that. When the dentist left the room he apologized, which I appreciate, however doesn’t detract from the fact that it caused me to have an anxiety attack and hold back tears. When he left, he said it would take 10-15 minutes and he would be back to get started. I sat there for well over 30 minutes with my face numb alone in the room waiting and had to get up and ask the front desk when we would get started. I have never had an experience at any dentist where it took that long. I could tell the dental hygienist felt bad because she came back in the room and tried talking to me/stalling however at that point I wasn’t in the mood for small talk since I didn’t have a lot of trust in the dentist from the shot and now was upset I had to wait so long. The dentist apologized and said he was running behind but that is no excuse and if you are running that far behind, then it would have been better to wait to do the novocaine shots so that I didn’t have to sit there so long while being numb and nervous since they hurt so bad. Also very frustrating/demeaning in a way (as if I have never been through fillings before) to be told numerous times that sometimes it takes longer for the novocaine to kick in when I’ve had novocaine numerous times before and it certainly doesn’t take as long as they were making it sound/my face was as numb as it got within 10 min. I then told the dental hygienist and the dentist that I could feel the bottom of my mouth and was worried about proceeding. The dentist did say he would start and if I felt it then he would stop and fix the issue (and he did) because sure enough I was right and I did feel it, which then in turn still did cause me some pain and was rough since I had lost all trust and was anxious from the beginning. Also, throughout the procedure, the dentist seemed very nervous and unsure, almost as if one of the fillings wasn’t curing properly which again, makes me anxious and not trusting. I appreciate the apologies from the dentist and hygienist however, it honestly was not enough and the experience definitely made me not want to return and ruined my trust in future dentists that I see.

I love this place so much! I never felt judged, everyone was always so friendly, kind, and you could tell that they really care about their patients. Plus they play the Great British Baking Show in the waiting room!!

Dr. Aziz is incredibly thorough and meticulously fixed my chipped front tooth. I was so grateful for his care and how well he fixed it- it looks great now, compared to the chip before! He’s also very friendly and kind, and the staff here are great!

In fact I quite My previous Dentist because They gave Me cheap plastic dentures, I told Them they were were junk. A Friend recommended My Frederick Dentist, and I do too. Not bad! My only problem is not having any options other than immediately after the visit. You should have online bill pay options or invoicing. It would make things much easier.

Won’t be going back. I have sensitivity issues and anxiety about the dentist - and there was a dentist that worked there during covid that was so delicate and kind hearted. But she left and I tried the current dentists. They ignored the issues that I made an appointment for and tried to fix “other issues” I had. I’m an X-ray tech and when they tried to tell me I needed a root canal from my X-rays, they didn’t know that I knew exactly what I was looking at and could clearly see that that was NOT what I needed. The dentists won’t even look at you when they first walk in. They’re rude and dismissive. Oh and don’t worry about missing your appointment, theyll call you 5 times, email you 4, and txt you twice a day starting 5 days prior to your appointment to confirm - and it won’t stop even if you do confirm.

Doctor Cho was a phenomenal dentist. He was able to took out my difficult wisdom teeth without any problems. Most of all, he was very sincere and truthful on his clinical approach to my condition. I would definitely recommend anyone to go see him for their dental needs. (Especially if you are korean like myself. He is fluent in both korean and english)
