I am so pleased to have found this practice. The entire staff was polite, helpful and professional. My dentist was very skilled , she listened carefully to me, and asked probing questions in a way that made me feel she really cared and wanted to understand my TMJ issues and help me find some real sources of relief. They also offered a wonderful introductory visit and I was seen within a week. I had nearly lost hope of finding a dental practice taking new patients during Covidtimes. What a relief! I moved from out of state and It had been two years since I had been seen by a dentist

Today was my first visit to this office. I was thoroughly pleased with each aspect of it. I have been to many dentist in Frederick for specialties. Due to scheduling. I had to find a new one, for they could not get me in for 5 more months. I called here and they were able to get me in quickly and accepted my insurance. (I am not a fan of offices that get us reimbursed) The front desk staff (Courtney) was so warm and friendly, even when scheduling over the phone. Dr. Aziz did my exam & cleaning himself and he was so personable, and the most gentle dentist who's ever worked on me. They were able to use my X-rays and clinical notes from my (now former) dentist's office. I appreciate that because X-Rays are expensive and often an office will get new ones for that reason. I will return here from here on out. This is a new standard of care. Blows away the TV screens on the ceilings and chairs at some of my previous dental offices. Service is everything and they got it on lock!

I was having some real issues with my teeth and needed an emergency treatment to alleviate the pain on my left side of my cheek. I had neglected my teeth due to work schedule and also because I never had the time to find a good dentist in Frederick who is part of my dental insurance network. Now I am forced to find one real quick to get some emergency treatment. By a stroke of luck, My Frederick Dentist does provide emergency dental services and saw me on the same day. I was treated with antibiotics and pain medication and was referred to an endodontist. I am grateful for Dr. Cho and the staff for seeing me and treating me. To a person, they are very understanding of the pain I am going through and are very kind and gentle in their examination. I am sure I have found the kind and caring dentist I have been looking for. I’ll be back!😎

Fist time visit, seems knowledgeable and compentent, unlike my previous dentist who was totally inept bafoon. I need a lot of work, but feel I can trust them. Staff is also professional. The only thing I didn't like is the getting charged a head of time for dental work needed, never heard of that before today. Hence 4 stars, Still better than the previous dentist I saw.

I am a current patient of MFD. From a patient care perspective, I’m happy with my care which is why I ultimately give four stars. My dentist has been timely, informed, friendly, competent and kind. My main gripe has to do with the paranoia around billing and payment. Each time I’ve come to the office, I’ve been asked to pay in advance for my treatment — as in before my treatment has occurred, been performed or completed. This is completely inappropriate. Services rendered is what should be paid for, not services about to be rendered. Paying a copay is one thing, but seeking the completion of a multiple hundred dollar transaction before the work is complete is unprofessional. On multiple occasions, I’ve been approached about payment at the time when I should be taken back for my appointment. I don’t want to be settling fees before my appointment as it eats into my appointment time. Swipe my card at the end. You’ll get paid. Trust me, I’m good for it.

In addition, I’ve been asked to sign a document acknowledging my “treatment plan”. Other than the paranoia associated with billing, I can’t understand the point of this. The treatment plan isn’t a binding, static agreement, it is an estimate that is subject to change based on whether I seek to obtain such treatment and if my insurance changes. If I heard you explain it the first time and you provided me the document with the details of the estimate, you can be assured that I understand my payment obligation under the then current circumstances. Furthermore, you have a right to payment once I receive services. The focus on payment instead of getting my work done feels like overkill.

Quick addendum: because there is no reply function on Google reviews. I have Been asked BEFORE time of service to pay a bill multiple times. This has occurred On the phone before my appointment when confirming the appointment and at my appointment prior to the one in which I received treatment. As such, while your policy might be mentioned in materials that your patients sign, ithas been loosely followed. Furthermore, this is the first dental practice I’ve gone to in my 30 years of life that requires payment BEFORE service .Again, I think Your dental service is excellent so I will Continue coming here but I do Think it is important to highlight my disappointment with the bill collection matters.

Everyone at My Frederick Dentist is warm, welcoming, professional and helpful. The doctors really take the time to explain all the treatment options and sincerely want the very best for you. I moved to Carroll County, but I still come here even though my commute is 50 minutes. I can't recommend them highly enough!
