The staff is friendly, the facility is modern and state of the art. My hygienist was thorough yet gentle and DR. Aziz had a calming presence and spoke to me about my dental care and maintenance clearly and concisely. I left smiling and will definitely be coming back there regularly.

Tuesday was my fourth visit to this office, as I am fairly new to Frederick. Let me just start off by saying that I don't entirely trust dentists. In my experience, treatment plans and recommendations are highly variable across the field. However, I do love my teeth, so I go to have them cleaned and checked. The first time I visited the office the hygienist was unexpectantly absent, so the dentist cleaned my teeth and inspected them at the same time. Other than some water down my face into my shirt, he did a pretty good job. He gave me a thumbs up and sent me on my way with a few minor reminders. The next time I came was 6 months later. At this appointment, the hygienist freaked out when she looked in my mouth and made such a big deal about my gums that you would have thought my teeth were falling out. Now, periodontal issues are not new for me. I have had tissue grafts, etc. I explained all of that, and the fact that I spend an insane amount of time on my mouth daily. I was led to believe that I was clearly doing a really horrible job and put on a four month cleaning regime instead of 6. My insurance does not cover the off one. The original dentist did not point any of this out (see above). The next visit was uneventful, except to again remind me that I am doing a horrible job caring for my teeth and gums. Note: I am following all of the previous recommendations made by the hygienist and the dentist. Now, this brings me to my latest visit. I was given half a gold star for marginal improvement in the results of my mouth care and additionally awarded with a cavity, which btw, I never had in my whole life until I moved to MD almost 10 years ago. Cleaning concludes. I go to check out and schedule my filling. The treatment plan is discussed with me. I sign it and make my appointment. Then, I am asked to pay for it ahead of time "to hold my appointment time." What? Holding my spot is with the appointment, not my money. I have been going to many doctors and dentists my 41 years and have never paid for my services ahead of time!! I read another review that another patient experienced the same. This looks like the office is either in really bad financial shape, the dentists are greedy or they don't trust people to pay their bills. The reply from the office back says the policy is collect fees at the time of service. If that is the policy, then I will pay at time to service, not prior to it. Might be time for me to shop for a new dentist!!

I’ve gotten a cleaning done with Becca the hygienist and she is so amazing. She is super sweet, gentle, and understanding. I’ve also gotten a crown done with Dr. Aziz. He is an amazing dentist! I needed a certain type of crown for orthodontic work, and he was able to get the job done. He fit me in pretty quickly too. 10/10 will go again!

My experience with My Dentist was great; I always have an uneasy feeling/ fear of going to the dentist. My Dentist made me feel great as soon as I walked through the door. Everyone treated me as though they had known me forever. Everything is explained up front and the facility is very clean and state of the art. My technician (Alexa) conducted one of the most thorough cleanings I ever had and it was totally pain and blood free. My first experience with My Dentist was very pleasant for both me and my son. He calls My Dentist his new extended family; because they made him feel like family and not patient or number.

I am not satisfied with my dental appoinment at My Frederick Dentist that I went to on 11/18/21. I was taken in to the dental room where the procedures are done, but I waited in the room for a long time for the dentist. I am not sure if there was only one dentist on duty that day. Then I received an exam and cleaning, but the cleaning seemed fast and rushed. The dentist at my Frederick Dentist seemed rushed all the other rooms had patients waiting. Also my Frederick Dentist recommended treatment for my teeth that I believe is not necessary. My previous doctor never said I needed anything and I saw that dentist for 6 years. If you are told your teeth need treatment. I would recommend getting a 2nd opinion from a different dentist. I will be transferring my X-rays to another dentist next week.

My kids were new patients with the office. My yungest actually had his first visit with them. Becca the hygienist was amazing she kept a conversation with them and made then feel comfortable with the appointment. The doctor was also good she was very informative and gentle with them. I was explained all the costs at front and the need of any future treatment needed. I will highly recomend this place for any family who is looking for a nice and honest place to maintain their dental health. My kids can't wait to see Becca again and get their teeth cleaned.

I went here and was able to make a last minute appointment. All of the staff were great, and friendly. I was taken right back for x-rays, and the dentist came in shortly after. I’m usually
Terrified of going, because I’ve always had previous dentist cause pain when drilling or cleaning. This is the first time where the dentist was extremely careful and made sure I was properly numbed so I didn’t feel any discomfort.
I saw Dr. Dokku, and I highly recommend seeing her. She was great and personable.

Hidden gem! I honestly think is the best practice that I have ever been. Everyone is very attentive and patient and the place is not crowded. I get very anxious when I go to the dentist but this time everyone made me feel super well. I like how they explain everything very detailed. I recommend this to everyone! Even my 11 year old boy goes to this practice now. Great service!

I went today to pick up my partial today dr. Smith my teeth and dr. Smith was very thorough and polite and rest of the staff dr. Smith did not stop until she got me to a place where I was comfortable and I was very very satisfied when I left thank you dr.
