Reading Dental Associates

I was very nervous going to the dentist like the other 99% of you. These folks were very thorough and comforting! Can’t ask more from a dentist than what this dentist office delivers. Very polite and gentle people here, I highly recommend. I drive 40 minutes just to go to this specific office and I plan to do it again and again.

Not worth the $500 they will charge you for an exam and cleaning.
They had an assistant perform my x-rays who absolutely did not have enough experience to be doing so independently.
The toothbrush during my cleaning went so fast it was mildly painful, which the hygienist repeatedly apologized for and tried to find a different set.

Individual workers are doing their best but the leadership/management have some improvements to make.

I am super anxious when it comes to dentistry, especially after a traumatic experience at my last dentist. Today I visited Reading Dental Associates with a cracked tooth, a killer toothache, and a bit of raised anxiety. However, from the moment I walked into the door, the front office staff set the tone of a welcoming and understanding environment. Dr. Park reviewed my X-rays and did an exam, then reccomended an extraction and implant. They were able to fit me in same day with Periodontist and Dental Implant Specialist, Dr. Annie. I let Dr. Annie know I was anxious, and I knew she had my back the entire time! I appreciated her explaining where she was in the process and what to expect, she has an amazing energy. Even as I sit here dealing with the routine pain of a tooth extraction and bone graft, I can’t believe how appreciative I am of the experience. Another bonus is that they are connected with an office in Arlington, providing a great bit of flexibility if needed! Thank you everyone at Reading Dental Associates, it really means a lot!

They people here were all very nice. My doctor cared about my condition during the process of cleaning my teeth, and finally took extra time to help me complete a deep cleaning and gave me some follow-up advice. I made an appointment on the same day for next cleaning.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I moved to Reading almost two years ago and have had a really hard time finding a new local dentist. Making an appointment was super easy thanks to Vanessa and Sandi. When I arrived they were so helpful and welcoming. Sonya was my dental hygienist and she is THE BEST!! She made me feel so comfortable and did an amazing job on my cleaning. Amy assisted Sonya with my xrays and was also another part of my great experience 10/10 would recommend!!

This practice keeps changing dentists and hygienist. Dr Byrd and Sonya are gone !!! Today was my LAST visit. I got the worst cleaning and polish. My hygienist stabbed me 3 times with the descaler that she barely used and did NOT know how to use the polisher. Paid for fluoride that I had to ask for 3 times and she never took the time to paint on.
Secondly, and most importantly, they wanted cash up front for an upcoming appointment to replace my leaking filling and sign a contract.
Turnover speaks volumes about this money hungry drive through dentistry this practice has become.

I have had bad experiences at other dental offices, so I've been skeptical in finding a new one. I've now been to this office twice this year and have had very good experiences with kind and knowledgable staff who genuinely care about their patients.

My family has been coming to this office for many years. Recently, Dr. Iebba retired and a host of new faces greeted us. We were a little apprehensive, but with a few familiar faces, including Sandi at the front desk, and all smiles and understanding from the whole staff, we were pleasantly surprised. The transition was seamless. My first cleaning with Sonya was one of the best I've ever had. She was communicative, focused, kind and let me know what all those numbers the dentist spout off were all about. :) One of my kids had a filling coming up and was terrified. Vanessa at the front desk was nothing but understanding and made a plan for our daughter to ask and have answered all her questions. When my daughter finally came in, Dr. Byrd and her assistant (another familiar face whom I regret not being about to recall her name at the moment) were incredibly patient and kind with my daughter. They showed her every tool and material they were using and explained each and every step. They gave my daughter the tools she needed to calmly make it through the appointment and actually smile when she left!

Sonya was very considerate and thorough in cleaning my teeth! My teeth have never felt so clean! She also made sure to let me know to expect. She kept me informed of everything that was going on throughout the appointment. I couldn’t recommend Sonya more highly for teeth cleaning!
