Great experience with the entire team at the office. Like many people this was my first appointment since Covid started. Sonya was really thorough in my cleaning and walked me through everything she was doing. The front desk staff (Sandi and Vanessa) are also extremely friendly and greeted me by name as I walked in and made sure to give me information on the cost of my future procedure before I left. The entire office is all women (which I was looking for and loved!).

Sonya and Sandi were awesome! Sonya gave me a great cleaning was super thorough and explained each step. Sandi helped me reschedule an appointment that I accidentally made on my birthday. I would highly recommend!

I was searching for a new dentist and came across Reading Dental and am so happy I did! Sonya was my hygienist and was so friendly and explained everything along the way. Vanessa and Amy have also been great during my time in the office. Highly recommend!

I was nervous to go to the dentist after avoiding dentists in general for the last five years. This dentist made me feel calm and not judged.

I recently had two wisdom teeth removed. For several years I had been hesitant to have the procedure. But I spoke with Dr. Ali Boyd and she gave me a few reasons to go forward. The procedure itself took approximately 30 minutes. Dr. Boyd who sings a bit (and nicely) when she works, made the whole process very simple. She explained that I might have some swelling and discomfort for 3-4 days and recommended acetaminophen if I did. Well, she needn't have recommended anything. Not only was I pain-free later that day, but beyond. I can't guarantee the same experience for everyone. But I don't believe it was just because my teeth were old and tired. But rather because of Dr. Boyd's professionalism and expertise. The overall friendly and pleasant atmosphere of the RDA staff has made me very happy to have stuck with them through the recent turnover of personnel.
The one holdover from the former staff (and an excellent decision to retain her) is Sandi, the receptionist, scheduler and insurance guru. It is always a pleasure to speak with her. And I know that I will be kept updated and informed on whatever I need to make the process as simple and efficient as possible.
Dr. Boyd's dental assistant Amy is also a pleasant new addition to the staff. She is personable and professional, like everyone else in the office.
Dental hygienist Sonya did an excellent job! She kept me informed during the entire process. Very professional, funny and thorough.
She even assisted in this review by giving herself 5 stars, thus saving me one whole tap on my phone for this review.
I feel very comfortable and welcome and at peace any time I am in the office. It all starts at the top, with the extremely capable and warm Dr. Boyd. It is a relief (at my advanced age) to know that I will not ever have to look for a dentist again.

My dentist of 20 years recently retired and when an unexpected dental emergency came up, I went on the Internet to find a reputable practice. The many positive reviews helped me to make the decision to give Reading Dental Associates a try, and I am so very glad I did! From the time I walked into the office, I was warmly greeted by Vanessa and Sandi. I had a "glitch" with insurance coverage and they went the extra mile to sort it out and by the time I left, everything was resolved. The Dental Assistant, Amy, thoroughly explained what to expect during the visit. She was professional, courteous and eased my worries. My hygienist, Sonya, meticulously cleaned my teeth. It is obvious she takes great pride in her work! Last, but not least, Dr. Jordan Byrd,!!! She thoroughly examined my mouth, reviewed and explained my x-rays, and expeditiously came up with a treatment plan. It turns out the source of my intense pain was decay in a tooth encapsulated by a crown. The essentially dead tooth was extracted and I experienced no discomfort during the procedure. I was so relieved to be rid of the source of my pain and also to have everything done during my initial visit! Despite being a brand new patient, I felt as if I had known this office team for years! I HIGHLY recommend Reading Dental Associates!!!

The team at Reading Dental Associates is friendly and welcoming and they did a great job on my cleaning today. Sonyja did a great job with my cleaning and Vanessa and Sandi at the front desk were very helpful when I arrived. I always love coming here! Thank you again :)

Sonya did a great job and was super friendly. She even shared a few additional tips and tricks to improve gum & teeth care. I highly recommend!

Sonya was fantastic!!! So personable and helpful. I ended up having to bring my son last minute and she set up a whole experience for him - table, tv, etc. he’s going to ask to come to my dentist all time now! Would highly recommend this practice and if course, ask for Sonya!!!

I cannot recommend Reading Dental Associates enough! By far the best experience I have ever had going to the dentist. My X-Rays were taken by Vanessa and she made what is usually a torturous experience very manageable. She was extremely friendly and welcoming (I just recently moved to Reading) and it honestly felt like I was speaking to a friend. Sonya was my hygienist - she was exceptionally knowledgable and thorough, walking me through every step of the cleaning and answering any question I had. Finally, I was seen by Dr. Byrd to cap off what was a very pleasant trip to the dentist. I am excited to become a patient of Reading Dental Associates for life and will be bringing my 2.5 year old son for his first visit very soon!
