I had an appointment for a cleaning and was told because of deep pitting on three teeth I should have sealants and that it would be 63.00 but wasn't covered by my insurance, I agreed. When I went to check out I was told 63.00 per tooth...I told her what the hygienist had told me and the receptionist laughed and said..." oh she played ya"..how unprofessional. I have been a patient since 2008...but no more. There more incidents, but this was the last straw.

Shady financially. I met with the 'finance" person to go over costs. She showed me an insane amount of money on a calculator. She said my insurance covered $1500/year and the 6k was after that was deducted. When I asked for a written breakdown of the cost of just two items-supposedly already figured into the calculator- it took over two weeks to get and that involved me leaving several messages. I finally made an appt with another dentist who gave me a written breakdown the same day AND had called my insurance and since I hadn't used all my dental coverage the previous year I could carry some over, so insurance ended up covering $2,360. Mind you the break down she finally sent was not broken down at all. Definitely looking into reporting higher up. It's blatantly fraudulent . UPDATE: They responded to this review saying the office manager had contacted me to discuss. No one had contacted me or even responded to my email. At this point I have nothing to discuss with them. And the reason I was in a hurry to get my work done was because I had an infected tooth that needed a root canal. I was in excruciating pain and this dentist even had me on antibiotics. Knowing the pain I was in and still taking over 2 weeks to get that information to me before I could even schedule anything was unconscionable.
