A++ The entire staff are very family friendly. Both dentists have been fabulous with my nervous to go to the dentist kids. I would highly recommend Monticello Family Dentistry!

I have not been to the dentist in almost 10 years, and Melissa was so great! She made my experience so much more relaxing, and explained everything to me as she was doing it. She kept telling me any concerns she had, but explained them in terms that I could understand. Dr. Block was very sweet and also kept me involved with what he was doing. They let me know what would be best for me, and throughout the whole appointment continually asked if I was comfortable or needed anything. If you are nervous or feeling scared about going to the dentist, this is the place for you!

We have been using Monticello Family Dentistry since moving to Monticello 9 years ago. I have never been anything but pleased with the customer service, and professionalism. All of the staff are great, from the front desk, to assistants, to the doctors. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I have always hated going to the dentist, but MFD makes it so much easier to go. The front desk gals are so welcoming, Krissy the hygienist is amazing, and the dentists are all top notch! I just started going there a year ago, and they honestly make you feel like family. Thanks to MFD, I no longer have anxiety before my dental appointments.

I would highly recommend MFD. Very friendly and clean. We love getting our teeth cleaned from Krissy! She does a very thorough job but is always gentle. Great for all ages!

They are just the best. Dr. Block took care of my 6-year-old son yesterday with a little cavity. He was so patient and attentive to my son. Dr. Block was so good at keeping my 6-year-old calm during the whole procedure, and it was over so quick! I will definitely be back!

Today I went to the dentist for the first time in almost a decade. I chose Monticello Family Dentistry based on recommendations and great reviews, and I was DEFINITELY not disappointed. I was very anxious and Melissa, my hygienist, immediately eased my nerves and chatted away with me about my family, upcoming holidays, etc. There was never even a hint of lecture on my lack of dental care over the past 10 years. As she was cleaning my teeth (for an hour! So gently, and with numbing gel for my gums) I thought to myself how glad I was that I had chosen Monticello Family Dentistry as the place I'd go, hoping to get over my fears. It was the right choice!
Dr. Biorn, who is new to the clinic, came in to meet with me at the end of my appointment and review my x-rays, etc. He, too, never made me feel embarrassed about not seeing a dentist in all those years. We joked that I promised I'd be a good responsible adult and come back to see him every six months from now on :)
The bad news: As I was at the counter setting up my next appointment, Pam (the very kind office manager!) rushed out to inform me that while I had been in my appointment, she had spoken with my insurance and discovered my particular plan did not cover this clinic! It was completely MY fault for not specifying my particular insurance plan when I made the appointment; I just said "Delta Dental," which typically IS covered here!
When I asked what I should do about today's appointment (as they had just spent over an hour, taken dozens of x-rays, removed a decade's worth of build up!!, etc) Pam apologized profusely, though it was NOT their fault!, and asked if I'd simply leave a review and tell my friends about the clinic.
Not only do I want to leave a 5-star, A++ review of the clinic, I'm also thinking of changing insurance plans just so I can keep going here. Thank you SO much, Monticello Family Dentistry, for being so gentle with someone who was scared to see a dentist and for being so accommodating even when you didn't have to be! I can't recommend you enough!

These guys seriously are the best! Everyone here is very friendly and really want to know if there’s anything they can do to make your visit better. The only thing I can think of is showing them how to put the toilet paper on right 😊 Hahaa... The check in staff, dental hygienists and dentists are very efficient plus take very good care of you. No worries here, if they can take care of someone like me (high anxiety) you’ll do great!

I was a first time patient at this dental office, and had the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. This made the already stressful trip to the dentist much more enjoyable. Melissa is a wonderful hygenist, and I will 100% be back. Thanks again to everyone who made this experience so great!
