My first visit to this clinic went well. The visit was for a cleaning and X-rays, basic tasks that should go well at any clinic. Nonetheless, it was a good and uneventful visit with friendly staff. Kudos on that visit. However, I was disappointed with my most recent experiences in this office though for a few reasons:

1) The hygienist I had seemed to need additional training. This was evident by my gums being in bad shape after a simple cleaning and the DMD needing to do additional cleaning before I left the chair. I had to ask the hygienist to stop scraping my gums with the instruments. She just wasn’t careful or confident, but I’m hopeful she’ll get the training/experience she needs to do well.

I brush with each meal and floss daily. Yet, my tender mouth was reduced to a somewhat paternalistic “make sure your daily hygiene is [up to par]” from the DMD. The experience was overall frustrating, and I’m uncomfortable that getting a skilled hygienist may be up to chance in the Steward office.

2) I was scheduled for an appointment two weeks earlier. However, the staff wasn't unaware of the correct appointment time. How does this happen? Because time is important, I’d confirmed the appt by phone AND text. I’d also received reminder texts. So, it surprised me to learn that I’d been removed from the schedule when I arrived for the appt. Once added back to the schedule, I sat for 30 minutes, waiting behind other patients due to the error. I eventually opted to reschedule.

3) There’s presently no way to pay balances online, despite a note on the bill to pay online. Logistical oversights like this give me pause when dealing with medical care.

Please note, I did not get high level dental work at this office, so I cannot speak to the quality of DMD care. I can say the DMD is mostly polite and has worked in that community for a long time. This implies that the people truly appreciate her care! My opinion is that having office staff and hygienists that need upskilling is a reflection of the organization as much as the DMD.

Overall, my perception it that there may be a lack of attention to detail throughout the organization, which could translate into less than optimal care. I hope I’m wrong, but I wont chance it after these small encounters. Based on the office’s response to other critical reviews, it’s water under the bridge when patients look elsewhere for care that works better for us. So, although I wish this office continued success, I’d say spare yourself the risk of an uncomfortable experience and seek another (preferably black) dental care provider.

If incompetent were a business,this practice is what you will see! Kim has no idea what she's doing and Dr Steward is equally as incompetent for keeping her on! RUN the opposite direction before choosing this office!

I've been going to Dr. Steward's office for a couple years now. Each time, I've always felt exceptionally welcomed and appreciated by the staff. And the facility is always top-notch clean! And I appreciate that Dr. Steward always does the final checks on my teeth before I'm released.

I normally have good visits. But yesterday I felt hurt, dismissed and not treated. I went to check if I had additional cavities i normally can feel them and last time I had 3 big ones that were missed last time so I am scared will happen again. I have low calcium and vit d in my body, so I have check routinely. I explained I'm dealing with sinus right now. I was given a treatment plan I am unable to do (root canal) and truly don't think I need. Had them take xray doesn't show. Was told I have a cavity and was sent away without treatment. Im losing my 2nd dental insurance and will be left with one so wanted to repair before I lost. My wife thinks the dentist just did not want to see me and pushed me out without treatment I believe my wife was right. I have never received that kind of rushed treatment before. The pressure in my top teeth is now in my bottom teeth and front, that's sinus but I still have a cavity that will grow and become a problem. Im quiet person. This is overwhelming for me.

I enjoyed the staff and they are really nice and helpful. The billing department is very unprofessional. I started my braces in October of 2019 and when I went in for an appoint in July of 2020 they informed me that my insurance has not paid and they would be charging me the full price for my braces which would cost almost $400 a month. When I called both of my insurances they said they had nothing on file from Dr. Stewart’s office at all. In between October of 2019 and July of 2020 I went to at least 4 doctors appointments and nothing was said to me. I even called and asked about my insurance because I received a bill in the mail and I was told every thing was fine because my payment plan was set up and just to ignore the bill. That was not true at all. I really enjoyed going to this doctors office at first but I ended up unsatisfied with their service. Overall the staff is wonderful but the way billing is handled is very unethical and I was left feeling everything was all about money instead of building a relationship with the customer and the customer experience.

This office was a blessing to find! I didn't wait long the staff was so pleasant and very caring. The office was bright, clean and inviting. The doctor was very kind and professional. She didn't judge me on my obvious teeth issues she made me feel like she cared. The procedure was fast and not bad at all. I have just found my dentistry home!!

Everyone at this office is outstanding. Dr. Anne is not only a great dentist, but she is a great person as well. Staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. I couldn’t be happier being a patient there!

Dr Stewart’s office was great. I don’t care for the dentist to begin with but everyone was friendly and made me feel welcome. My wife even liked them. I think I’ve found a home office for dentistry.
