Eastland Family Dental

This was the best exam and cleaning i have had in years. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Teresa was great. Sorry i didn't dance with the 2 nurses as i was leaving but i have 2 left feet. I'm looking forward to my next visit Tuesday October 22 at 7:00 am.

I love the consistently excellent service. I feel like they do a great job of being concerned with my tooth health and proactively assessing potential issues. Though, I have never felt like they pushed or unnecessarily suggested services; which (unfortunately) cannot be said of every dental office.

Another thing they do well is protecting patient privacy. Theoretically all medical providers are beholden to HIPAA. However, it seems like Eastland does a good job of this in an unobtrusive way.

We've been going to this practice for eight years now, and have been super happy with how we've been treated by them. Unfortunately we find ourselves in a situation where we need to leave their practice since they do not take basic health safety precautions. During each of our last five visits (all during the pandemic) their front desk staff have not worn masks for good portions of the times we have been in the office. We've made clear to them before, during, and after each visit that we expect them to follow the guidelines that have been set forth by the Jackson County Health Department regarding mask usage. We've given them multiple opportunities to follow these guidelines. I cannot put my family at this kind of risk any more and we have made the unfortunate decision of leaving this practice. It's surprising that a medical office does not take basic public health practices seriously in the midst of a mass death event. It is sad to me because other than this we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this practice.

Very nice facility and wonderful staff. Not to mention excellent dental care. I had to have a crown. Was in and out with a new crown in an hour!! I highly recommend Eastland Family Dental!

Complete waste of time. The initial exam was great, we setup a treatment plan, and scheduled the second appointment. Got in for the second appointment 2 days later and the doctor waited until right before we started to do shots to decide that we can’t do as much as we had planned and we should go somewhere that offers full sedation. I don’t know why we couldn’t have been told this during the first visit, but now we have wasted a day of pay from work and have to go to a completely different dentist and start the waiting process all over again. If you just need your teeth cleaned, this is a fine place to go, just don’t expect them to be able to handle any serious problems.

My wife and I have been patients of Eastland Dental for over 5 years. We have repeatedly had great experiences, with professional and friendly staff. I appreciate that Eastland utilizes modern equipment, which improves the patient experience. My most recent visits were the result of a broken crown that needed replaced. Eastland was able to work me in quickly and work around my work schedule. Thanks!

HEATHER IS A JEWEL!.....She has taken such great care of me since I moved back from Florida. When I was in excruciating pain, she made a spot for me. When I was worried about another problem, but, needed X-Rays and cleaning first....she found me a spot. She's been fabulous to deal with my insurance (Delta Dental thru AARP) for what is my upcoming and very expensive treatment needed. I had the delight yesterday to be seen by one of your temp hire hygenists. ( wish I could tell you his name, but, with the mask thing and my hearing loss, I had a real problem understanding what he was saying, since I couldn't read his lips. Not your fault, obviously). He was conscientious, professional and thorough. Plus, our shared history of both having lived in the Philippines was a plus . I have always felt this way about your practice. I was gone for about 5 years and used to see Wendy Werley, DDS (whom I miss a lot). However, all your staff has always been top notch. That is the reason I returned. On the down side, I was AGHAST to walk into the office (fully masked myself as were all your staff). The waiting room was full, with no effort to follow the social distancing and NOT 1 OF THE 8 folks waiting wer wearing a mask. That's a first for me during this whole pandemic issue. I must admit it gave me pause. If I were to write a review, I would include this information.

"Amazing" Eastland Family Dental is an amazing office I recently switched over to there office last year and am Glad I did so. Andrea Polley was my Hygienist. She was fast, friendly and incredibly awesome to deal with.

Quick response to have my temporary bridge checked out prior to leaving for a weeks vacation. Bridgette was able to fit me into Dr. Tran's busy schedule for her to check it out for me. Dr. Tran is the best as are all of their staff. They make you feel welcome when you step inside the door.

Outstanding experience after being treated very poorly at another practice. Natalie was very kind, comforting, explanatory and helpful. Dr. Keppler was equally well received. I highly recommend!
