Great dentist that cares about his patients. Me and my wife both had our teeth extracted with him, and he did an excellent job. His staff are really helpful and caring as well. The best part is he took us in when we had an emergency, unlike other offices where you have to wait over a week to get in.

Notice how all of the reviews for this place are at least a year old? I would not recommend this dentist. I went to Dr. Deakins in April, ended up getting a tooth pulled (a three-hour process), and the tooth next to the extraction site has been throbbing painfully ever since. I mentioned this in the follow-up visit a week after the extraction and both the assistant and Dr. Deakins ignored my concern. I would not trust this dentist!

Dr. Deakins was hands down the best dentist I have ever been too. Besides feeling the shots everything else was painless. I highly recommend him to anyone needing work done. I definitely am going to bring my daughters here as well. This was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! Oh and his staff were awesome too!!

So happy I found this place. Everyone was extremely welcoming and made the visit so much easier. My son is 7 and this was his first time seeing a dentist. He had a lot of anxiety and can become very emotional when he is scared. The dentist and dental assistant were phenomenal and put him at ease quickly. The receptionists were helpful in scheduling a follow up appointment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist. Clean, well maintained atmosphere.

Dr. Deakins, and his staff, are great!! They always go above and beyond to make us (7 and 11 yr old girls, hubby and I) feel comfortable!! We’ve had 2 “emergencies” and they have always been able to squeeze us in so no one is left uncomfortable for longer than necessary.

We are so grateful for Dr. Deakins. He always goes above and beyond to ensure our needs are me and questions answered. I have never had a dentist I appreciate and trust more than him. The staff that performs our cleanings are great too!

This was possibly my best experience at a dentist ever. Dr. Deakins is a straight shooter. Spent quality time with me answering all my questions and asked me questions to ensure he was giving me the information I was looking for. I ended up getting 3 fillings. He was so efficient and did an amazing job. His office staff was accomodating and helpful. I can not say enough good things about this office. I would give 10 stars.

Its fair to say I have some dental anxiety after years of having teeth that aren't in great shape. This was my first pleasant, and comfortable experience with a dentist that I can ever remember. John was kind, understanding, and refreshingly non-judgemental. He went above and beyond to explain what was currently happening with my teeth and what steps needed to be taken to continue getting my teeth and gums where they should be. He took care to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my visit. I have finally found the dentist I will be sticking with. I highly recommend Northland Family Dentistry. Thank you to John and his staff for showing me a dental visit doesn't have to be miserable and high stress!

Dr. Deakins is extremely skilled, but what sets him apart is his kind nature and care for his patients. He takes time with each patient and really cares that you are comfortable and understand your treatment. I highly recommend him!

My experience with Northland Family Dentistry has been nothing but good! At my last visit I forgot my insurance card and I wasn't even sure of what insurance provider I had. The front desk staff went above and beyond and found my insurance without me even asking. The dental assistant I had was fantastic. She was efficient friendly and informative. The visit ended with Dr. Grutter who introduced himself, listened to my concerns and addressed them quickly.
Over all Northland Family Dentistry has met and exceeded my expectations, and I'd recommend them to anyone in need of Dentistry services.
