I've never been a fan of the dentist. After a bad experience as a kid, It's like pulling teeth to get me to go (no pun intended). However, After having an issue recently it was obvious I needed to go. I was referred to Dr Tracy by a good friend, and I couldn't have been happier. She not only eased me into the process, but I never felt rushed or looked down upon for being scared to go to the dentist. She explained everything greatly, and took extra precaution to make sure I was 100% comfortable the entire time. I would recommend not only Dr. Tracy, but the entire staff in a heartbeat. From the front desk, to the wonderful assistants I had, everyone was incredible. They made going to the dentist a breeze!

Dr. Matthews and his staff are the BEST!!
I had the most pleasant experience ever!! They got me back before my apt time, and made sure I was very comfortable with a blanket, nitrous and headphones with great music!! I did not feel the injection hardly at al,l and the whole procedure, which was a crown procedure, was only an hour from start to finish!!! Everyone at EXCEL from the front to the back are the nicest, friendliest people, with always a smile to greet you... I would HIGHLY recommend!!!!

After having an INFURIATING and belittling 2 years at a dentist in Springfield... I lucked into Excel as we were driving by. I check the reviews and told my husband to stop.
I went in and it is VERY nice and clean. The receptionists were extraordinary. AND they seem knowledgeable about my medical condition. They got me in that day with my pain and Dr. Mattews gave me a game plan that we exacuted today. The dental assistants are amazing here and when my body decided to try and pass out at checkout due to low blood sugar, they knew what to do.
They don't rightly accept my insurance but I will continue to go here anyways and just figure out the money somehow.

This is a great dentist office. The staff and Dr. Davis always does a great job. They all make you feel comfortable if you’ve ever been Leary of going. I highly recommend Excel dental.

I have been attending Excel Dental since it switched from Barnett Family Dental (4-5 yrs). I love my Dental Hygenist, Leslie. She's always very thorough with my cleaning. She makes sure I'm comfortable through the entire process. Years ago, I had anxiety about going to the dentist, even for cleanings. I don't feel this way at Excel Dental. They are like family. I share pics of my family and we talk about things going on in our lives. I would highly recommend Excel Dental. Fyi, I even live in Spfld and drive to Ozark...just b/c they are that awesome.

Dr. Jim comes in prepared and already having looked at your chart and x-rays! He is very professional (as is all of the staff)! Highly recommend!

This was my first time here, or in a dentist office for about two decades or so? Staff was so caring and amazing. The initial hygienist (I can't recall her name, I'm so sorry!) was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in detail as we went along. After finding out that I needed TWELVE fillings AND a root canal, Dr Nick was able to squeeze 9 fillings and the root canal in in the same morning! He and his assistant Sally K took great care of me during the procedure and took their time. Even though it was a surprise procedure kinda day, I was very impressed by the compassion and professionalism of the entire staff. I believe I've found my home dentist! ❤️

The start of my absolutely wonderful experience began when I entered the door of Excel Dental. The receptionist was SO friendly and immediately put a smile on my face. The dental hygienists at Excel Dental were very funny and engaging-I almost forgot I was getting my teeth worked on! Dr. Nick was my dentist, and he is one of the nicest, most genuine dentists I have ever met. Everyone here performs a perfect balancing act between making the patient feel comfortable but working quickly to get their job done, and I am thankful for that! Cheers to Excel Dental!
