University Dental Care

My dentist retired so I was referred to University Dental Care. I was nervous because he had been caring for my teeth for so long and I wasn’t sure how I felt about starting over. However, I had nothing to worry about. Linda, the hygienist and Dr. Muntean have both been so friendly and respectful, gentle and informative. My cleanings have been painless and I always leave with tips on how to better care for my teeth and gums. I’m so happy I came here and look forward to many more years with this knowledgeable team!

Please don’t do it!!!!!! I receive a recommendation from my retired dentist to this place. I received a root canal that literally took my entire life down the tubes. The dentist performed a root canal on an infected tooth. After a week the pain was so severe I was literally crying. I called and informed that this was to be expected and they called in a prescription for pain pills , I had to give them the number to the pharmacist across the street from the dentist office because the receptionist didn’t know how to use google to locate the number 😡The next day the pain was so intense I had to beg them to see me. Finally they took an x-ray and saw it was infected. It went down hill from there. The infection would not clear and the staff was so nonchalant and unconcerned. I was sick, vomiting, losing weight and sleep for over a month with them constantly giving me the run around and giving silly remedies. The fact that I had to go to Urgent care for help is really sad. I’m still trying to recover, this has affected my entire life and caused a lot of missed days from work. Dentist office from Hell.

I received news from my normal dentist that he was going to be out for wrist surgery and I was referred here. They were able to get me in immediately today and the ladies at the front (Stephanie, Mel & Monica) we great! This office is also closer to my house which makes it even more convenient. I’ll be making this location my primary dentist office.

I've been going to University Dental Care since December 2011. Love this place and it has a family feel. I also love my Dental Hygienist Deb. Wouldn't trade her for another dental hygienist in the world. Lol. I highly recommend this place.

I had my first appointment today. The Dr. Muntean and the entire staff were warm friendly, thorough and explained things along the way. I had put off going back to the dentist much longer than I should have and they helped make the experience a very positive and helpful one. I felt very supported.

Have tried others since my dentist retired, and these ppl are great. Made me feel comfortable & great cleaning

Debbie is the best Dental Hygienist ever. She also found a Silver filling that was old and failing and now I am getting a crown. Five Stars is my rating.
I had the first step done on my crown today. The Dentist, Dr.. Mundhenke, was really good with the pain numbing shot. He was the best ever. I am impressed with his overall technique. His assistant was very good at explaining everything and getting impressions of my tooth. I should have got her name. The temporary filling is not irritating as they were in the past. It was a great day!

Man, this place has gone way downhill. I’ve gone to this location for a few years and loved it. I’ve recommended so many people here. I’m not sure what happened, but wow the service is just terrible. The front desk people are sooo condescending and straight up rude. Don’t dare ask them a question or you’ll feel them rolling their eyes. Absolutely zero hospitality in the front area. I’m never greeted when I arrive or wished well when I leave. Just a disgruntled hello and goodbye. I’ve seen two different dentists here and they’re very nice. I’ve also had a bad experience with someone who was preparing me for a crown/root canal. I expressed how nervous I was yadda yadda. No empathy from her at all lol Just a “you’ll be fine” would’ve sufficed. I asked her for a stress ball or a pen to fidget with. She outright ignored me? It was weird. Anyway, please get it together! I want to like this place again but I’m really considering switching dentists.

Office is nice, clean & comfortably relaxing. Staff is kind & explains what they are doing, why & the outcome. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. I did feel I recieved honest & straight forward information & answers from my dentist & everyone I dealt with. Refreshing.

Best dentist office hands down for Adults!! Linda the hygienist was the very best, she was so helpful, understanding, comforting and gave me so much information/advice I ever heard about dental hygiene. I definitely recommend this place!
