I had a very positive experience
I would absolutely recommend University Dental Care to family and friends.
Dr. Alan was very professional yet very friendly, and the Assistant Tiffany was professional, friendly as well, they both were personable and made me feel extremely comfortable and let me tell you my nerves were in a frenzy upon walking thru the door 🥴!

They’re charging me $96 for an adjustment to the height of my wife’s resin. She was numb from the anesthesia when she got her fillings for 4 teeth so the doctor said to come another day to adjust them. We went back and now they’re claiming they did an oral evaluation, when it was just finishing up the fillings. Also some of the staff is xenophobic, a higenist mistreated my wife when she went in alone because she spoke Spanish.

I had my teeth cleaned by some lady and she chipped my front teeth. I returned and she lied that she cracked it. Beware of this place. It cost me exactly $1,738 to fix her mistake by another dentist in U city. The worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. She flat out lied that she cracked my tooth. When I got home, I was spitting out parts of teeth from my lower front teeth. It was a Russian hygienist. Stay away from this. The dentist said he would fix it free, but I would never trust this place. I have never seen a place this bad in 65 years.

I appreciate that Dr. Muntean gave extra numbing shots even before I requested. Was comfortable even though my procedure was two hours long. I have more work to get done, but at least I now know what to expect.

As someone with a paralyzing phobia of dental work, I cannot recommend this practice (and Dr. Alan Mundhenke in particular) enough. Six out of five stars. I've been meaning to leave this review since I first started coming here over a year ago, but my appreciation for the knowledgeable, kind, and endlessly patient staff has only grown with every visit since. (And there have been a LOT of visits--my mouth is a disaster zone.)

I used to be unable to even get a routine cleaning without shaking and struggling not to hyperventilate, but since making this my regular dentist, I've managed to have a full ROOT CANAL without any tears at all! The doctor and all the technicians have consistently gone above and beyond to help me feel comfortable, from listening to my concerns without judgment (!) and answering all my questions, to constantly checking in with me to make sure I'm doing okay during the procedure, to prescribing pre-visit anxiolytics to see if that might help (it didn't, and I quickly gave up on that, but I appreciated the attempt!).

When I had the idea a while back to have an earbud in and listen to a podcast from my phone while they worked, to keep my mind off of things, I didn't get my hopes up that they would allow it. Not only did they agree to the idea, they encouraged it--with ENTHUSIASM--and to say it has been a LIFE-CHANGING strategy for me and my dental health might be an understatement. I had some more fillings done today, and I didn't realize until I'd reached the building that I'd left my earbuds at home. I was nervous, of course, but I still felt confident that I could make it through the appointment without completely falling apart like I would have just a year ago, and that alone should speak volumes. HOWEVER, there was no need to even go through the added stress, because my technician was kind enough to retrieve her OWN earbuds for me to borrow. And now I'm getting teary-eyed for a whole separate reason.

Back in September, I moved to a new house that was about half an hour further away from University Dental Care, but unless I someday end up all the way across the state, I'll happily make any length of drive. Thank you, Dr. Alan. Thank you, all you wonderful techs. Thank you, CSRs, and everyone else making this place the most welcoming dentist experience I've ever had in my life, bar none.

Staff is amazing!! My Visit always go smooth !! I get in and get out. Any questions I have are always answered !! Would definitely recommend

I first visited University Dental in 2012 because I broke a tooth cap/filling. They saw me the same day and fixed me right up. 7 1/2 years later I’m back for the same tooth. Great work once again. The staff is friendly and professional. I would recommend University Dental to anyone. I’ll be back next week for my full check up.

It has been a long time since I went to the dentist and University Dental Care made me feel welcome. They were very helpful with the care of my teeth and explaining difficult procedures to me. I truly trust and respect the people that work here and love going back to make sure my teeth and gums are healthy.
