First time visit with my kids was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Lorenzo is so sweet, patient and great with kids. Will be coming back!

I have been going to Family Dentistry for years. I actually enjoy going to the dentist! Well, actually, I enjoy going to Dr. Rincon-Lorenzo’s Family Dentistry! The ladies at the front desk are very friendly and professional. They are extremely helpful with checking and explaining billing and insurance. You can expect to be seen at your appointment time. This shows me that Family Dentistry respects my time. The dental hygienist, I see Donna, is so kind and gentle. I recently had a deep cleaning with her and was made to feel completely relaxed and at ease. There was absolutely no pain. As for Dr. Rincon-Lorenzo, she is the best! She is totally knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely gentle while working in my mouth. She explains exactly what needs to be done. If there is more than one option, she will take the time to explain the pros and cons of the various dental procedures, so that you can make an informed decision. I have complete faith in her judgment. She has done regular fillings, crowns, bridges, a mouth guard and even removed a tooth for me. I was more than please with all of these procedures. She also took great care to see that the color chosen for crowns thoroughly matched my natural teeth. The office is also very convenient since they have specialists on staff. I have had a tooth removed by the oral surgeon and a root canal by the endodontist in this office. Both were done successfully by compassionate and skillful professionals with a minimum of discomfort. There was also personal follow up by phone to make sure that I was doing well. I highly recommend Dr. Rincon-Lorenzo’s Family Dentistry! You will not be disappointed.

I've been going to Dr. Rincon for years and wouldn't trade her for the world. The office staff is polite and friendly and I feel welcomed as soon as I step foot through the door. Dr. Rincon is very knowledgable and makes feel comfortable throughout all procedures. I highly recommend them!

Do not go here! Both my husband and I were lied to by Dr. Lorenzo and Dr. Madrid about work we needed done on our teeth.

We recently moved from NYC and needed to find a dentist that was closer to our new home. Family Dentistry came recommended, so I scheduled a cleaning for both my husband and I. After my cleaning, Dr. Lorenzo came in to inspect my teeth. She listed off tooth numbers to the dental hygentist, then told me how beautiful my teeth were and that she wanted to set up another visit for dental scaling which she said I needed because I have gum recession and brush my teeth too hard. I was planning to look into this further because I know that scaling is typical done when gums are not healthy, and my gums are very healthy. I go through great care to take care of my mouth. When I spoke with the secretary on the way out she said that we need to set up the next visit for scaling and get my cavities worked on. I was in shock! This was the first time I heard anything about a cavity as Dr. Lorenzo just told me how great my teeth looked. So I asked her how many cavities they found. She wouldn’t give me a straight answer, so I asked again and she said 11 cavities. This was unbelievable to hear. I go to the dentist every 6 months and did not have any cavities last time I was at the dentist. The same day my husband went to see Dr. Lorenzo and she said he had 5 cavities. My husband has never had a cavity in his life and while he is not perfect at visiting the dentist regularly, there is no way he had so many cavities.

After this very upsetting news, I decided to follow-up on my visit with Dr. Madrid who was originally recommended to me and was not available for my first visit. During our meeting she did not look in my mouth, but she was sure that I did in fact have 11 cavities based on the x-rays. I still wasn’t convinced, so I went back to my dentist in NYC, Dr. Han from Tribeca Dental Design. I told him about the cavities and the scaling, and he was also shocked. He looked in my mouth and at the x-rays and tried to come up with 11 cavities. He couldn’t. He said there are two areas that he is watching with small cavities but that he didn’t want to work on them until they are bigger. He said it’s because cavities can sometimes heal themselves as long as they do not go too far into the tooth. Amazing news! Also, he said the scaling wasn’t necessary as my gums are healthy. My husband also had his teeth reviewed by Dr. Han, and he found no cavities in his mouth either.

Ultimately, I figured out that Dr. Lorenzo’s office is scamming people and lying about work they need done in their mouths to make money. They can get by with it because even if they point out spots in the x-rays, to the untrained eye, those shadows all look like cavities. Think of Family Dentistry like going to a shady mechanic with a fancy and expensive office. Please stay away from here
