Gentle Dentistry of Lancaster

Haven't been to the dentist in a few years. went to gentile dentistry as it was right down the street from my house and accepted my out of state dental insurance. They told me I needed upwards of $10,000 of work done including 7 caps, root canals and cavities filled. I had a feeling I was going to have to pay a little but 10k seemed a little high.

I went to get a second opinion after hearing horror stories from people paying astronomical prices for dental work. Not only is it going to be significantly cheaper , but I don't need hardly any of the work done that gentile said I needed. If you are coming here to get significant work done please look for a second opinion as it saved me ALOT of money and time that would have been wasted on work that was unnecessary. They seem like a sales driven office that will take advantage with any chance they get.

I had called numerous dental offices prior to Gentle Dentistry. The whole experience with them was phenomenal. The receptionist, Amber, was so pleasant on the phone and even more so in person. Best experience at the dentist ever.

I love Gentle dentistry. I've been a patient for years and I have never had a bad experience. I've been lucky enough to have a great dentist and the staff is wonderful and very respectful.

Listen to what they tell other patients in the booth next to you...there's a pattern - a sales method. Does anyone ever leave this office with a good report? They will say "our treatment is more comprehensive" or "our examination is more thorough than other doctors". It's stated that way so they can never be accused of charging for services that aren't necessary. Get another opinion. I was told I needed 2 crowns - I don't and the fillings are fine. I was put through months worry and stress for nothing.

They were kind and very helpful. Gave me loads of detail about what needed to be done and what they were going to do. Would recommend.

Dr. Bartos and ALL of the staff were extremely helpful and patient with my daughter who has anxiety. Unfortunately, they were not able to treat her, but they gave us the names of other practices that may be able to provide services for her. I am grateful for their kindness in dealing with what could’ve been a very stressful situation.

Wow. I haven't been to a dentist in a long while. Primarily, my dental issues were piling up, and I was worried that, without insurance, I would be in for absolutely trauma. Instead, from the phone call making an appointment, all the way to when I left the building, I felt extremely comfortable. A friendly environment, knowledgeable staff, and an understanding that we're all human beings going through stressful stuff. They even helped me learn about insurance, and they pointed the way towards getting oral surgery and other procedures confidently in the future there. I can't wait to go back and get everything done - and by greeted by the wonderful people working there.

Extremely polite and very thorough. Explain everything in detail. Would not go anywhere else.

I am not someone who likes to go to the dentist, previous bad experiences. But I had an emergency and GD made my appointment within 2 hours the same day! I cautiously went to GD, but they made me at ease immediately. Wonderful, fun crew! Sadly I have to go back for an extraction, but now I'm not scared. Amazing. They explained everything, and worked out a plan that fit my budget. Very professional too. If you hate dental work, go here and they will lovingly care for you!
