It is very rare nowadays to find a medical professional who combines expertise, integrity and ability to answer patient's questions in a clear and understandable manner. Dr. Raggi is indeed such an individual. I have been lucky to have him as my dentist since he opened his office in Ithaca and every time I have an appointment with him, he takes time to explain what is going on, offers options and would never suggest an unnecessary procedure. I personally experienced this numerous times and now completely trust his suggestion. As to dental skill, his are by far superior to any previous dentist I have had in the past. Consequently, I give the highest recommendations to Dr. Raggi and in fact cannot praise him enough.

Dr. Raggi is hands-down the best dentist I've ever had. I'm used to people looking at me strangely when I say I enjoy going to the dentist but at work today, one person was talking about a great dentist that they had and then they said the name and all of us were excited to contribute to the conversation. It turns out that several of us all travel over half an hour to see him. And we all think he's the best dentist we've ever had. It's amazing how passionate he is about what he does and how it translates to other people having positive experiences at his office. One of my co-workers said she's terrified of dentists but actually likes his office because his dog sat with her the first time and the chairs are massaging and comforting. Depending on the patients there and day it is, we've been able to pick our music to listen to. Several of us started with him because he fit us new patients in when we needed to be seen quickly, or in my case when a chain dentist office messed up and got my tooth infected and didn't know what to do to fix it, Dr. Raggi and his extremely friendly staff, including Annette, were there. They are outgoing and personable and upfront about costs and not recommending more than you need to get done. I've had lengthy discussions weighing pros and cons and asking questions about oral health and tooth development, and have learned a lot at his office.

Dr. Raggi is the first to explain issues and options in layman's terms, informing me so I can make best decision for me.
Never has another dentist swayed me away from a root canal , and explained why previous dentist work failed and their mistakes.
This honesty is refreshing and helps me make cost conscious decisions.
I even have the opportunity for free dental work from a family friend dentist, but when it comes to my teeth, I rather pay for dr. Raggi's expertise and honesty.
With Dr. Raggi, I am no longer an anti-dentite.
