Arden Dental Group

I am not a big fan of Dentist's. Than I found Dr. Clark at Arden Dental Group. If you must go to a Dentist this is the group for you. Everything is a positive experience from your first encounter with the front office staff to the hygienist, Doctor and Office Manager. I have had a lot of dental work in my life, this is by far the best. The Doctor's are great to work with, have great communication so nothing is a surprise. They have worked with my insurance company to insure I am getting the best coverage. "My" hygienist is wonderful. Usually I get anxious over cleanings, no longer ! You won't be disappointed with Arden Dental Group.

Wow! Super friendly, professional, helpful…I don’t think my review will be able to cover anything that hasn’t been covered repeatedly by everyone before me…also, not just brains at this dentist’s office 😂🤷‍♂️👏!! Will be returning:)

I will let you be the judge; I made an appointment, I was 6 minutes late, which I announced and apologized for upon arrival. Was told I could re-schedule to a later appointment, I begrudgingly did so, as I am in acute pain and am in need of an extraction. I waited and then returned and checked in, got called back and was about to have the X-rays taken, and then the receptionist from the front office interrupted the visit to inform me that she had contacted my healthcare insurance provider and they told her, “ no dental benefits”..

I asked her if she called the dental provider number or the medical number, her answer was , that she did call them and they told her I did not have any benefits.

I said , there must be some mistake, you called the wrong number or perhaps they didn’t hear you correctly.

I called my healthcare insurance provider during all of this and our her on the phone to verify my dental benefits directly. She was then told that I was covered at 100% for the extraction and all fees included with that as well are covered also.

Great news, NOPE, even after verifying my benefit coverage, that their office policy “ is to collect the payment from the patient first, and then reimburse the patient when they receive payment from the insurance.

I scheduled this “ as an emergency appointment , because I am in extreme pain, and had to wait all weekend to get in and see a dentist. They explain to me that I would need to pay in excess of $500.00 to get the single tooth extracted, etc. ( if they decide it’s necessary)..

I can’t afford that, I am 100% disabled, I live on a measely fixed income, so I have medical insurance to cover the costs, etc.

So, I had a minor meltdown after all of this.

All of this could have been avoided had their staff members looked more thoroughly at the information printed on my insurance card.

I am a patient, I needed help for my pain, I am covered for the procedure and I can’t get it done because I don’t have money to cover the procedure until they get paid first.

This is horrible practices.., placing money before the patient, I guess the Hippocratic oath doesn’t apply to dentists!???

No, I would not recommend this practice.

I am so grateful to have Arden Dental taking care of my dental needs. Not only do they do an excellent job of taking care of my preventative maintenance with high competence, professionalism and great kindness; but they also find a way to work me in if I am having an unexpected emergency need. Thank you Dr. Clark, Jackie and the entire staff.

My dental cleaning, bite wings and panoramic images all went very well. I am very pleased with Julia. We discussed how well the appointment went for the both of us. Thank you to Arden Dental, the best in Asheville area.

I've been seeing the Arden Dental group for a few years now and they are great! Very friendly and caring staff. They will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with your results. Would recommend.

We have just moved to Asheville, and just had a wonderful first experience with Dr Huffman and his staff at Arden Dental Group! The front staff are very friendly and kind. No waiting! Assistant Debbie was very personable and helpful with xrays. Made me feel right at home! Dr Huffman explained everything before beginning and gave me one of the most thorough and informative exams I've ever had! Julia cleaned my teeth very thoroughly, with no discomfort!
Such a pleasure to spend time with professionals who are thoughtful and friendly as well! We've found our favorite dental family!!
