My dental hygienist was very good, very thorough. She spent a good amount of time beforehand studying my X-rays and new patient paperwork. I feel that she took great care in the cleaning. I met the dentist briefly and he was very professional and welcoming.

Two days after I came to North Carolina from Florida, my porcelain crown fell off of the tooth next to my front one on a Sunday. I looked online and found Biltmore Dental Group, I called and asked if they could get me in that day, Monday. They could not so I waited until Tuesday. It was in a nice area and had good reviews. While working on my tooth, the dentist asked how it felt when I bit down. I told him not good at all. It felt like there was a glob of cement behind my tooth, making it so that I couldn’t bite down properly. He did more work and asked again, how it felt. This time, it felt like my tooth on the other side; normal and good. However, when he cemented it on, it felt just like that first time; a big glob. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I realized he had cemented my tooth on crooked! There is a space between the tooth that was worked on and my front tooth, I cannot fully bite down , I cannot eat without biting my cheek and it sounds like I have a lisp when I try to talk. I held a mirror to look at the back of my tooth, to see what was so rough and you can clearly see a glob of something on the back of my crown. The teeth that my former dentist worked on, are smooth like glass. Before this dentist started working, I asked him to look at my two front crowns to make sure they were not loose. He said they were not, but that he would have done better work because they did not look like quality. And his work does? He calls what he did to me….quality?
I will be back in Florida next week. I guess that is the place I need to go where the dentist knows how to re cement a crown because the dentist that I had the misfortune of asking for help at Biltmore Dental Group? Clearly did not know what in the world he was doing!
