Dr. B. Van and the staff there were very friendly and efficient. They went above and beyond in an emergent dental situation to make sure the patient was seen and they also made sure the utmost comfort and care were given. The problem was tended to swiftly and efficiently, and aftercare was explained in easy to understand detail. Any questions asked were answered thoroughly, and every effort was made to put the patient at ease. I cannot thank them enough, nor can I express how wonderful they are well enough. I definitely recommend Carolina Smiles.

I had an old crown pop off while traveling out of town. When I returned, I called the Carolina Smiles office and although they completely booked, they were able to squeeze me in that same week. Staff was very professional, and the dentist (Garret) made quick work of re-cementing the crown. Very pleased with the overall experience.

What a great experience I had yesterday with Dr Gunnells. He did a crown for me and I never felt a thing. He and the assistant were caring and competent. The novacaine (sp?) they used was quickly effective and wore off shortly after leaving the office. I don't know why I dreaded having the work done...it was so easy. thank you, Jane Wheeless

Dr. Matt was awesome. He works quickly and carefully. I'm self pay (no insurance) and I was given very honest and upfront information about the work needed, the cost, and the level of urgency. I always have anxiety about going to the dentist, but my fears are unfounded when going to Carolina Smiles. Keep up the excellent work!

This place is awesome! Staff are all wonderful and they clearly put a lot of focus and attention on making a great patient experience.

Just had my first appointment and had a great experience. Julie at the front office was friendly, helpful and multi tasks like a woman who should rule the world! Lexi, my hygienist was very gentle, listened to my concerns, and explained every step. She was thorough, professional, also just a delightful person. I saw Dr Shane who was personable and professional. A great experience all around.

This morning I was in a lot of pain and needed an appointment right away. Julia at the front desk was very caring and told me to come in right away and they would fit me in. I got there and only waited about 5 minutes and the hygienist called me back. She was very caring and compassionate. I believe her name was Sadie, I’m sorry I can’t remember. She made me feel at ease. Dr. Shane was also very caring and compassionate. I’m very grateful that they were able to help me with my situation. The staff at Carolina Smiles have always been very caring and professional. Today they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I would definitely recommend Carolina Smiles to my friends and family. Thank you all so much.

This is the best dentist office in all departments. I have always gotten really easy scheduling of appointments, good service, excellent consultations and follow ups. So appreciate that this is part of our community. Thank you Carolina Smiles.

Not sure why there are so many great reviews for this place. I take very good care of my teeth and was told that I had many cavities and needed to return. When I returned to have the cavities fixed they anesthetized both my upper and lower jaw to the extent that I couldn’t tell whether or not I was swallowing or breathing. It seemed like a very unsafe approach to the situation. After seeing another dentist I was told I would have to have all of those fillings redone because it was done poorly. Another member of my family went and was told they had 4 cavities by this practice. They then went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told that they did not have any cavities.

Very nice staff, and a kind professional dentist. He listened to my wishes, and took immediate action. After a year of being bounced around by other dentists and thousands of dollars; it was a sigh of relief. Thank you Carolina Smiles.
