Enamel on front tooth sheared off on Sunday. Called emergency number.
Soon got a call back from Dr. Van who offered to come in right then to fix it. I told him it could wait until Monday since it was not hurting. Got in the next morning. A temporary cover was put on while a crown would be made. Great service, great response. Deeply thankful for their fine work.

I had this procedure yesterday morning that went easy and painless (and I have dental anxiety) rather I HAD dental anxiety. I had received a consultation with a different Dental office in Asheville that said it would cost THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to accomplish.
Carolina Smiles performed a different procedure accomplishing a better result for a fraction of the cost.
Dr Van is the bomb and I'm so blessed I found this place.

I am relatively new to this practice and am so glad I changed to Carolina Smiles. It lives up to its name - lots of smiles from everyone. I came for a cleaning 2-1-19 and was blessed to have Molly as my hygienist. I mentioned being chilly and she got me a blanket. She also explained what she was doing every step of the way. A device took photos of my teeth from inside my mouth and I was shown a tooth problem on a screen. When I was given my "care" package I remarked that I couldn't really use much of what was in there. She opened a drawer and said I could pick out what I would rather have. I opted for two additional trial size toothpastes and put back some other things.
Dr. Garrett Gunnell came in and explained what needed to be done with my cracked bicuspid. So I am getting a crown at the end of the month.
He also shared that his family was increasing by a third son soon and he thought his wife deserved a short vacation and some fun before then.
This is kinda long but I remember dentists that I have had over the years and none made me as comfortable as Carolina Smiles. One was downright mean. I don't stay numb long and when I felt pain he said "only another minute" instead of giving additional pain relief. It was very traumatic. That doesn't happen at Carolina Smiles.

Listen, Dr Van came in the office on Sunday to help me with a problem tooth and then had me come first thing Monday to make sure I was all set.
Historically I'm not a fan of dentists...honestly. Until I found Carolina Smiles.
They do it all there and they are efficient and painless. If there was a 6th star they would get it ******

This is the most professional and personable dental group ever. One constructive criticism...please acknowledge your patient when you enter. Don't just begin a procedure without saying hello and introducing yourself. When you don't it makes the patient feel like a dental school dummy. Thanks.
