Dentistry of the Carolinas - Dilworth/South End

I won't be back. I was a new patient and did everything that I was supposed to do-including having my recent X-rays emailed over the the office. This office "couldn't make out what the X-ray was saying", so rather than call my old office and/or reschedule my appointment, they take new X-rays. They even tell me that it's no charge. The new X-rays showed exactly what the emailed X-rays showed. Needless to say, I was billed and I no one remembers this situation. I cannot get any dental work until this bill is paid. I can't believe the office didn't show me the professional courtesy of writing off the amount. They also turned me over to collections. I did nothing wrong. I definitely don't want them working in my mouth. Thumbs down on the customer service. I had better customer service with dental offices out of my network.

After having a painful experience with another dentist, I made an appointment with Dr. Hauschka in the Myers Park Location. Boy, what a difference! Everyone including the receptionist (who is extremely prepared for your arrival) the Dental Hygienist and Dr. Hauschka provided top-notch service! They were conscious of my fear of pain and worked patiently with me through a couple of procedures. Plus, I love the email reminders -- great for a busy person like myself!

I have been looking for the perfect dental group for years and I finally found it w/ DOC!!! They are kind, patient and extremely professional!! I will recommend everyone to them!! Thank you to the entire DOC Myers Park team for truly a wonderful experience!!

I’m really sorry to say that I likely will not be going to Dentistry of the Carolinas any longer. I have loved this office but was charged a fee that I feel was very sneaky and will be seeking a new dental office that does not practice in this manner. Due to COVID, everyone is expected to wear additional PPE. I have been to many doctor and medical offices since the outbreak and this has been the case. For some reason, this office felt they could charge me a fee because they have to wear additional PPE, something I have not yet experienced anywhere else. I was not informed that this would be the case prior to visiting the office and feel it’s not acceptable to be charged for something I have no control over in such a sneaky way. This is unfortunate because I did like this office and LOVED my dental assistant here. If I had been informed of the potential charge beforehand I think I may have felt differently.

I have always had a fantastic experience with Dentistry of the Carolinas. Everyone who works at the Dilworth/South End Office is extremely nice and professional and the quality of service is excellent from getting procedures to teeth cleanings.

I had my initial visit with Jennifer Cannady on April 30. She was wonderful. The whole office was nice. Jennifer showed a genuine concern for my dental health snd well being.

I had my tooth removed here at my first visit. My experience was positive. The only drawback is that it can be hard to find to book an appointment in their busy schedule.

Dr. Hammock and his staff are wonderful. My husband and I have been going here for several years and its always been a great experience. From the front desk staff to the hygienist everyone is always so sweet and wonderful.

The front desk staff is very friendly and efficient. Cleaning was thorough and fast. Great visit!!
