Modern Family Dental Care - Northlake

I’ve been going to Modern Family for years. It’s always a pleasant experience. The staff is always fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Today was very exceptional. Amber was awesome and I am certain I would like her to be my dental hygienist from here in out. Dr. Rogers had a great solution for some sensitivity I was experiencing and I feel MUCH better. As always GREAT JOB!

My experience was great! I Must be honest and say that I have neglected my teeth for a few years! Having two children back to back and COVID knocked the priority of my teeth down to the floor! I was nervous when entering the office but my fears were immediately smoothed away when meeting Tiffany and checking in. She was kind and friendly. I then encountered Bianca who commended me for being present and conducted the X-rays . Then Dr. Rogers completed the examination and quickly came up with a plan to get my mouth back on track. I then met the hygienist Abby who was a doll! She quickly did her portion and was super kind. I ended the visit with Sammie who went over the cost and payment options! We laughed and had a wonderful time. From start to finish I NEVER felt judged for having neglected my teeth for so long. I am excited to get my teeth back on track! If you’re wondering if you should try this Practice don’t! The NOrthlake location is amazing! Run and tell them Christina sent you! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Rogers and I have to say I was impressed with the overall attitude of everyone in the office. I came knowing that I would be needing to come back a few times before I'm back on track, and everything about today's visit signalled a jumpstart on that process. Dr. Rogers was very clear about his recommended treatments, and unlike some other reviews I never felt pressured into buying any services whatsoever. On the contrary, I mentioned something that the Doc said I didn't need and he was very clear with me about why I didn't need it. I had an exam in the morning and a filling performed later that day, and he definitely improved the look of the area above and beyond what I was expecting. I've got a crown scheduled to take place at this clinic now with the Doc and I look forward to another great experience with which I can update this review!

Another great visit! This was my third visit with Dr. Rogers and the Mt. Holly-Huntersville team. Dr. Rogers has done two filings, a root canal and crown in the past 6 weeks. Dr. Rogers from day one has eased many of my anxieties that I've had which has made each visit less and less scary. Each visit I was greeted, promptly checked in and treated with care. The staff is super friendly and very sweet. For my first two visits last month (Dec 2016), I had the pleasure of watching Tess training a new staff member named Evan. Tess did an awesome job training Evan and Evan seemed to fit it like a charm! It was good to see Evan on her own today working on me solo along with Dr. Rogers. Dr. Rogers and Evan always make sure I am comfortable and informed. The work very well together. The Mt. Holly Huntersville location is definitely my preferred location. I can't see myself trusting the health of my mouth to anyone else besides Dr. Rogers and his team. Thanks again for the great experience and two thumbs up for Dr. Rogers and Evan.

Update: 9/28/22 I still go to Modern Family and I still love the staff. They are professional, caring, knowledgeable, and consistent. I trust them with the care of my dental health.

I had an emergency and they could've turned me down but they took me in and provided phenomenal service! Dr. Roger's handled me with ease and made sure I was doing well throughout the whole procedure. If you're looking for a dentist that cares choose Modern Family Dentist!

Had a full upper extraction 14 teeth for implant prep phase. This review is the next morning. I want to go to classes 8am-11:40 and if I hadn’t been instructed to lay back and relax I would have.
We started 1:30 and I was home with meds by 5:30. As I said I could go to classes right now 7am. These guys are great at what they do. This is my 3rd procedure with them.

Before noon I asked directly and was told I would receive a call back by 2pm to confirm a second same date appointment at 3:30pm contingent upon them receiving paper work from my primary physician. I never received said call and when I called back at 3pm they told me I could just come now. The lack of initiated communication was disappointing.

The dentist was quite rough and not as gentle as I would expect, especially considering I am 32 weeks pregnant. The administration of local anesthesia seemed rushed and was very painful to the point of tears and I have a high tolerance for pain as I have many tattoos and piercings in sensitive areas. Also there was a lot of tools clinking against my teeth which was uncomfortable as well.

The work the was done was great as I am happy with the end results but my time in the chair was memorable for the wrong reasons.

The staff was professional and friendly which I appreciate. The facility is clean and welcoming. I will be going back to give a second chance as my experience may have been a fluke and everything else was pleasant.

My daughter was hurt at school and busted up
her mouth with a fall and loosened her two front teeth. They got me in same day and made sure X-rays were done to ensure the teeth would be Ok! Dr. Rogers was knowledgeable and treated her with such care! I was so pleased with the service today!

Best dental place I have ever seen in Charlotte. Get appointments super quick and job well done
