My son is 9 years old and has been going to Dr. Ballinger since he was 5 years old. I absolutely love going here and my son does too. He doesn't dread going to the dentist because they are just that great and make you feel so comfortable about anything they are doing or anything else they may think needs to be addressed about your child's teeth. They made me feel at ease whenever I have been nervous about him needing anything done other than a normal cleaning. I highly recommend this dentist office anytime!!

I’m reading the negative reviews and don’t believe them. I’ve been coming here for years since I was 5 until now, 20. I’ve only had one negative expirence with a hygienist being too rough (I haven’t seen her working there anymore), Dr. Ballinger is super funny and makes me feel comfortable. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed, they were very professional and kept conversating with me to keep me relaxed as well as asking me for any discomfort. Overall I LOVE it here. *I’ve seen comments about staff being upset due to cell phone usage or phones not being turned off, there are signs literally everywhere telling one to turn off phones, therefore there shouldn’t be an excuse as to not having them off or on vibrate*

This practice is terrible!!! They never return calls or messages and no one ever answers the phone. Dentist was abrupt and lacked common mannerisms that you would expect from a pediatric dentist.

Oh my goodness I had an appt on 6/20/16 with Dr. Chris Ballinger, he is very rude and unprofessional, and his chairside manner is horrible. He does not listen and is in straight defense mode when you ask him a question.....go in the back with your kids especially if they fear getting their teeth cleaned or needles to numb their mouth.

We will not return..too many dental offices in the area to deal with anyones rudeness.

PLEASE don't bring your children here if you want a dentist that is nice and friendly and understanding!!! They have a no cell phone policy which I was told about on our last visit and I respect the reason why for this policy. My daughter had to go back for a follow up as well as a few fillings. My cell phone started to ring. I reached in my purse to turn it off. Immediately Dr. Chris jumps up and say and that mom is on her phone huhh and stormed out. For one I felt disrespected by the way he stormed out as well as how he assumed that I was on my phone texting. Afterwards I let the Dentist assistant know that I would like to talk to him privately. I waited on him in the xray room. He came in like 5mins later. I told him how I have noticed the way he has become very impatient and unprofessional and let him know that I was not texting neither on my phone prior to the phone call which I ignored. Instead of him simply apologizing for taking things out of proportion he looked at me unapologetically and said I am not going to sit here and argue with you. I feel as a professional dentist or Healthcare worker there was no need for him to have an attit
ude. We have been going to this Dentist for many years and really enjoyed it but since his wife is sick and the other lady Dentist are gone the office has gone downhill. I use to recommend people to this office but trust not any more. Parents find a dentist that not only provide exceptional service for your children but can be respectful to you as well!!!!

I have been a patient here for 2 1/2 years. After my last experience I will not be going back. As far as cleanings go, the hygenist does most of the work. The Dentist himself has a horrible chairside manor. I asked him a question on my last visit, and he was giving me some kind of bs answer as he walked out of my room still talking to me when he was out of site. He told me I needed a root canal. After I was told what my cost after insurance would be, I told him I wanted to extract it. I was having another problem with a back tooth on the other side, so I told him to pull it as well.
After the numbing was gone, and I could feel my mouth, the other tooth was still there. HE CUT MY WISDOM TOOTH OUT. I thought you had to go to a specialist for that. I didn't even know I had wisdom teeth, so if it's not bothering me....leave it alone.
I am 43 years old, and 2 days later everyone thought I had been in a fight, because of the bruise he left on my check that took 1 1/2 weeks to not be so noticeable. Long story short...he is rough, he is rude, and I am currently looking for a new dentist to take care of the tooth I needed care for last month.

I just can’t anymore. I used to travel 40 minutes out to tak my family to this dentist for the past 5 years but after recent events the staff is not what it used to be. First they told me to put my cell phone away and I ask what are you talking about and the nurse said that patient could not have phones out in the exam room so I lifted up my hands and to her amazement it wasn’t a phone but the remote for the tv. Second time is they cancelled my appt because I didn’t text them that I was still coming to my appt, and when I did call they closed early on fridays and I couldn’t leave a voice mail. They need to understand that everyone can’t text back. Thirdly got all the way to dentist for them to tell me my child does not have insurance, when in fact he did after calling insurance company. These people used to be very helpful in the beginning but over the years they became unlikeable and not family friendly. So I’ll just take my family somewhere else

Dr. Ballinger is professional and his staff is efficient and sweet. They work with you to make sure you can have a healthy smile and wallet. It's a busy place, but they do their best to work you in same day. Can't wait to take my son here for his first checkup so that he can have the same good first experience that I did!

The staff were friendly once they felt comfortable with me but it should be from the start... My issue is with the roughness of the dentist and the fact that within 15 minutes of leaving, a piece of my filling had come off as I drove to work, then a piece of TOOTH came off when I arrived at work. I called and had to leave work to go back that afternoon to have the dentist work on the tooth, which he refilled and did nothing about the jagged edge from the piece that broke off after the filling. I've now cut my tongue countless times and flossing leaves the thread totally shredded apart. The inner side of the tooth is rough and after it was refilled, I have serious sensitivity to cold. Not to mention the repeat of shots and the prop used despite me noting that I have TMJ issues on my paperwork and telling them that thing hurt more than anything else... it's been nearly a week and my jaw is still super sore. I'm having to go to another dentist to have the whole thing redone out of pocket...

I forget which doctor pulled my two teeth but he did a great job and wasn't afraid to pull two broken teeth side by side. I actually went to another dentist recently and they told me the doctor would not pull just one they all had to go because I'd never know a difference in one being pulled when I had four more just as bad, well he may be right to a certain extent but for one it's my mouth and if I choose to have Just one pulled because of financial problems that should my choice. Anyways these guys are great.
