A year ago I reviewed Winston Smiles with 5 stars. Great team, wonderful hygienists and dentists.
However, in May my husband and I had our semi-annual cleaning and checkup. We received a bill in the mail for services covered by our dental insurance??? I called the office and found that Winston Smiles no longer participates in the United Concordia Insurance network!!!! We were Never notified by Winston Smiles that they were no longer in Network. What if this had been an emergency appointment? This is very poor business standards..

Dr. Albertson is highly skilled and very gentle. I trust him completely with my care. I even needed a filling recently, and he made the whole experience comfortable. The hygienist I saw was very thorough, and the dental assistant was very personable.

This practice was okay until they decided they didn’t want me as a patient any longer. I called to make an appointment for myself due to some pain I was having, and was told I could no longer be seen due to 2 missed appointments. The first was in May of 2022. I had just had twins a month prior, so getting to appointments was really difficult, and I totally forgot to call. I rescheduled that appointment when I realized I had missed it, and they rescheduled me for October. I made that appointment and all was well. I needed a filling, so they scheduled me for the following week. I ended up missing that appointment as well because I was so sick with Covid, and my babies were also sick (not Covid). I completely forgot about that appointment due to everything going on. I could understand if I was purposefully neglecting responsibilities, but that wasn’t the case. On top of all of that, I never once received a reminder call, email, or text about any of my scheduled appointments. Nor had I ever been notified of their no call/no show policy (which I still haven’t seen). I’m sad, as this was the first dentist that I had seen in a long time, due to a fear of the dentist, and they made me feel comfortable. Now I have to start at square one.

I found this dental office via my insurance directory. I liked their extended hours for my family. My appointment was pleasant and timely. The cleaning was exceptional. Dr. Hedrick has a great chair-side manner and is attentive. Would recommend to others.

This must be a big joke. Website clearly indicates office open 8-1 Saturday. My wife had an emergency late on friday. called and even went to office Saturday am. Office closed and no emergency number indicated.

I have never enjoyed a cleaning and dentist visit so much before until coming to Winston Smiles! Brittany was amazing and so fun to be around during my cleaning. Dr. Albertson was fantastic! He was able to give me affordable options to give me the confidence I lack when I smile due to a baby tooth and old front teeth bonding. So happy I found a dentistry to call home for all my smile needs :)

Apparently they are not taking any Medicaid patients at this time. Please don’t waste your time. Receptionist was rude and rushed me off the phone.

Just wonderful service all the way around! candy was super helpful with getting my husband in and seeing immediately. This is a wonderful office clean safe and quick to get you in & taken care of. I wish I knew about this place sooner! If you don't have insurance in your paying in a pocket it's very cost efficient this office is not about making money but actually about assisting their patients!!!!!

My mom's partial dentures broke and Winston Smiles luckily was able to fit us in... our very first visit here. This place is awesome!! Very professional and friendly!! Dr. Albertson was my mom's dentist and was very thorough and caring with my mom! He was actually able to fix my mom's broken dentures!!! Not only that but afterwards my mom said they even felt better than before. I didn't think those dentures could be saved but Dr. Albertson was able to save the day!
I also want to take the time to show our appreciation for Melissa (Dental Assistant) who treated my mom with kindness, care and professionalism. Another mention goes out to Candy, their Treatment Coordinator, who handled getting our appointment who was super courteous, kind and professional. Everyone else we briefly encountered there were also very friendly!!
I'm so grateful I found this place and for what they done for mom!

I've been to Winston Smiles several times, and haven't had any complaints until my recent visit. Over the phone I specifically scheduled just a cleaning w/ no doctor exam, as I have no issues with my teeth and would rather not spend an extra ~$100+ on X-rays & for the doctor to be in the room for
It seems that the doctors at Winston Smiles have a tendency to "upsell" their patients (according to several other reviews as well) on dental services that will bring more money in, without respecting their patients ability to accept or deny medical service according to what's best for them.
Winston is definitely smiling, but not just because of good, healthy teeth, but also a pile of money!
