First of all, I absolutely love the fact that KLOVE was playing on the radio! The fact I could still listen to it while in the hygenist chair was great! For myself, it had a calming effect and made some of my fear subside. Bethany was awesome! I loved that she explained everything beforehand and talked to me while working in my mouth. She was very professional and caring! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I scheduled an emergency appointment after a recently root canal tooth fractured, leaving 1/2 of my canine tooth barely hanging from a thin piece of gum. I was seen by dr jones who said it needed extracted. I voiced concerns that I had a photo shoot scheduled and couldn’t go with a gap in my smile. I was told about flipper, bridge & implant. A flipper is a same day procedure at this office. It was Friday afternoon around 2:30 but they would not do it because they squeezed me in. And they didn’t know if I could even be seen for treatment within 2 weeks! For an emergency!
In fact they let me walk out in the same state I walked in. Only $77 lighter and livid!
The tooth would not last all weekend till I could get in with another dentist on Monday. The tooth came out while I slept.... hmm that could have been bad. The yellow root filler material was hanging out of a hole in my gum. I was being poked by a hard thread... Over the course of a few hours the root filler fell out completely from the hollowed out root of my tooth. So.
There is no protection to the open root bed that is access to thousands of microtubules..... Infection here is very serious and probable.
The scheduler did offer me a choice of a cookie or apple at Checkout. ( which seems cruel when you think about the # of people who can’t eat a cookie or apple after dental procedures.). Or in my case.....eating would not be prudent or comfortable.
Dr Jones refused to provide a trEatment that was available in office to others who had non emergency apt scheduled but not to me who had half a tooth hanging in front of my mouth.
Putting me at additional risk of serious infection.
The staff offered no temporary solution to this emergency situation.
But they did expect paid..,,
That is not the kind of service that could have gained a large familIes loyalty and praise.
Its a shame really. I have 8 children and 4 grandchildren that need a dentist. But no amount of cookies, complimentary coffee and reading glasses or even great support staff make up for failure to hear my concerns and treat me in an emergency situation by Dr Jones. I'm appalled.

Even though he had no appointment, Tammy made time to quickly see him, get him the answers to his queries, and have him ride away on his bicycle as one informed, happy camper! Tammy was amazing/incredible, and kudos to her and her extreme focus on customer satisfaction . . . thank you, Tammy!
