I went in today for what I was told would be a root canal, something I've never had before, so was of course nervous... that being said, even though they had prepared me both mentally and financially for dealing with a root canal, when they got in there and found they thought they could get away with trying a filling instead and seeing if that would do just as well/better, they asked my input and did the filling... I am always scared of the dentist, not because of the pain so much, but the fear that they will do unnecessary procedures, because - let's be real - how will I know any better..
Well, Excellence in Dentistry won my trust today, and I can't thank them enough.. I might end up needing the root canal down the road, but they were more than willing to use their experience and judgement to make the call and at least try to save the tooth for as long as I can and I am so happy to have a dentist I feel like will take the time to talk through the right decision for me.
Also, the first time I went in, the hygeniest took the time to explain everything.. like to the extent that I now know what mesial, distal, lingual, etc mean and so much more. I do much better with things when I understand what they mean and the importance, so the fact that rather than getting annoyed with my questions, she took pride in explaining the answers was awesome! Thanks so much!

They provide good service. But what they won’t tell you until after the service is that they are not in network with any insurance company. So you will likely have a bill for services that would be covered by insurance. So check with your insurance before making an appointment.

I've been going there for years. Staff always friendly, relaxing atmosphere, pretty much pain free treatments but I feel they are a bit pricey. You pay.for what you get I suppose.
