Family Dentistry of Yukon

Due to extreme anxiety I've neglected my teeth for more years than I care to admit. Once I was ready to tackle the mess in my mouth, I was encouraged to go to Yukon Family Dentistry. I'm so thankful I did. I'm still in the beginning of a little journey to get things where they need to be, and I now have no anxiety about any of it.
The whole staff is friendly and welcoming. Procedures are explained in detail and any questions are answered.
Angel has been my hygienist each time and she is very patient and thorough, yet very gentle. At the slightest indication that I felt a bit of pain, she made sure I was comfortable again before continuing.
If you're avoiding the dentist due to fear/anxiety, I urge you to visit this practice and get your dental health back on track. I'm glad I am!

Starting off, front office ladies are wonderful!! Very pleasant, very helpful and pretty funny. Had me smiling.

Second, Deana, is amazing! Taking x-rays and teeth cleaning. I was nervous at times and she calms you down easy. Very personable, super sweet and very informative. Knows her stuff!! She literally, made my visit..

Dental assistant, cannot remember her name, so sorry! but she was fabulous. Took all the pictures and scans, very sweet and explained it all to me so well.

Dr. Taw is wonderful. Went above and beyond. Even did a jaw exam after we talked about an issue I had and gave me a referral. Took his time to explain everything and answer every question I had. Went through my needs, did priorities and made a plan.

10/10 would recommend them to anybody. Especially if you are nervous in the dentist chair. Great office and awesome people.

My first visit was great! I’m not a huge fan of the dentist office but everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable. The staff was so nice.

The staff is friendly and they all did a great job of explaining everything. They have top notch technology and the hygienist, Angel was great. Angel was wiping and cleaning as she went along. She explained how teeth whitening and sensitivity toothpastes work most effectively. I was asked several times if I have any questions, insurance and cost was explained well. I felt like Angel really cared about making me comfortable and keeping me from experiencing pain while I was having my teeth cleaned.

A place with positive vibes and friendly associates. Angel was incredible with my detail cleaning. She was very thorough and professional. It was after a while I had experienced such an incredible service. Kudos to Angel and the team!!

I thought Justin was super helpful and very friendly! I loved his vibes! My cleaning lady was awesome! My only complaint is that I don’t need somebody to repeat something to me to show emphasis on a problem. You’ve presented the problem to me, now move on. Other than that I had no complaints.

I absolutely love this dentist! I have always hated going to the dentist due to horrible past experiences so when I scheduled an appointment with them I was beyond nervous. When I walked in the door I know they were going to be completely different from all the others! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, they remember me when I walk through the door, I really feel like family when I am here and love the front desk staff. The Dr. Lee is amazing he always explains to me what the plan is and has been very patient with my horrible anxiety. He makes sure I am completely comfortable before any work is started and his assistants are just as awesome as he is. I recommend them to anyone that is looking for a dentist!!

I am hesitant to go to doctors, and especially dentists. I have been to numerous dentists over my 73 years, and I will say this is the absolute best team and experience I have EVER had at a dentist's office. Angel and Justin, and the office Manager and Dr. Lee are soooo friendly and still professional - and honest - which is so much appreciated! From now on I will consider Family Dentist my Dentist (and group of friends). PS A special thanks to Angel and Justin (and the Office Manager) who made my experience so great right from the beginning.

The office staff called and worked me in the same day even though they were busy and it was a holiday week. They saw me standing waiting for a bit to check in due to another person in line and called me out and got my name and said go ahead and sit down I know you’re not feeling well. The dentist (Dr Tau…spelling ?) was excellent. He was gentle and took time discussing my options. I would need a referral to the endodontist. He went ahead and wrote a rx for some antibiotics. They were trying to make sure I was okay over the long weekend. From the front desk, to the dental assistant taking painful bite wing xrays and the Dentist himself the visit was top notch. I’ve been going to Family Dentistry of Yukon for several years. They have had turnover of the dentists there. However seeing a new person made me anxious but he, like all the others, was patient and professional and put me at ease right away. Thank you Family Dentistry of Yukon for taking great care of me and my family for all these years.
