Timberhill Dental - Corvallis

I have always received such competent, caring, professional service at Timberhill Dental. While every hygienist to have helped me has been excellent, I tend to set up appointments with Anne. She has become a wonderful friend, even though I only see her twice a year! The advice I have gotten and the care I've received form both Anne and from dentist Kurt Black have been splendid, and I am very pleased to give Timberhill Dental my strongest positive recommendation.

Always a pleasure to visit Dr. Black and the whole team at Timberhill Dental. They are professional, friendly, compassionate, and great at what they do. My hygienist is top notch, and goes above and beyond to help me with tricky xrays. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

My first experience with Dr. Black's office was much more enjoyable and even relaxing than I ever expected from a trip to the dentist. My cleaning with Marie was quick, pleasant and she did a beautiful job. Dr. Black's exam was thorough, I like that everything in the office is clearly state of the art. The little touches like overhead tv's and paraffin hand dip really did help me relax. This may not be the cheapest place in town, but for me as a nervous patient that little extra comfort makes me more likely to actually go back and take care of my teeth, so it's well worth it. There is nothing shady about their in-house discount payment plan, it's actually a really good deal if you don't have dental insurance, the other negative reviewer clearly doesn't get how their plan works. I never thought I'd say it but I'm looking forward to my next visit to the dentist.

The team at Timberhill Dental are amazing. Their office is so serene it feels like a spa visit rather than a dental visit. My hygienist Laura is awesome and always a great conversation. I leave the office feeling better then when I walked in, knowing I am receiving quality and honest dental care. Highly recommend!

Five stars, as I don't know how my visit could have gone any better. Well, I could have not had any cavities, but that isn't a reflection on Timberhill Dental. Their new patient forms are electronic and easy to complete. The staff is wonderful -- friendly and competent. Dr. Black was patient and explained things clearly. I had a paraffin hand treatment during my visit, which was a nice addition to an already pleasant experience. I'll have to go in next month to take care of a cavity, and usually that kind of thing puts me in a panic -- not this time. I look forward to seeing how the next visit goes, and I'll be sure to post an update.

I've gone to Dr. Black at Timberhill Dental for ten years. He is the most pain-free, gentle, and careful dentist I've ever been to. He and his staff are wonderful at sharing information I can use to better care for my teeth. He's done several complicated oral surgeries on my mouth and I've never felt pain during them, or discomfort afterwards. He stays current on the latest technologies and treatments and is always willing to answer all my questions. I can't imagine a better dentist and am grateful he's in Corvallis. His staff are equally outstanding.

Tina and Kyndal were professional, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the procedures which I very much appreciated. I very much appreciated their help during while getting Suresmile aligners. Dr. Hickson got my teeth looking great and the 10 months flew by!

Any issue I have had over the years has been rapidly taken care of. Usually the same day I call in and if not the next day. I have always been impressed with the staff and the facility. I am sorry to hear Anne is leaving but wanted to say congratulations on retirement!

I am in my 60's with life long teeth problems and I have seen my share of dentists and dental offices. I have been with Dr. Black and his amazing team of people for the 11 years I have been in Oregon. Never have I felt so secure with a dental office. Although trips to the dentist are never something I look forward to, everyone in this office helps me feel taken care of welcomed. I appreciate the little "dental spa" additions to the visit like the wax hand dip at the beginning of the visit and the warm face towel at the end of a visit. My questions and concerns are taken care of each visit even if it means a longer than scheduled time, they always take their time and I feel heard and taken care of. There have been emergency type visits and they always fit me in as fast as they can. Although I have not participated in many, I appreciate how they build community with pool parties, tailgaters, raffles, halloween candy buy back, and more. I appreciate how they all travel together once a year, helping people who have no dental care. Overall this office and Dr. Black are the best! They have helped me so much in the last 11 years, I look forward to continuing with them for as long as I can.

I love this office. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Many of the employees have worked there several years --- sure must be a reason. Care by the hygienists and dentists > excellent. They offer small, pleasant extras, the best being a hot hand wax during the teeth cleaning/exam. I do not "hate" going to the dentist when this is my destination.

I have always HATED and DREADED going to the dentist. Timberhill dental has completely changed that! The front staff greets me by first name, hygienist Anne is amazing and puts my completely at ease. Dr.Black is fabulous, taking time to explain in detail any issues that may need to be treated and answering any and all questions that may follow without making me feel like just another patient. Treatment coordinator Sandie takes the time to explain all treatment plan options in detail leaving no "fine print" left out. I can't imagine going anywhere else!
