Timberhill Dental - Corvallis

My wife and I have entrusted the care of our teeth to Dr. Black and his highly competent, friendly and efficient staff at Timberhill Dental since moving to Corvallis in 2005. My most recent experience was just a few days before Christmas 2021, when I broke off one of my two upper front teeth. Sandie patiently and very efficiently helped me sort out various treatment options related to end of year insurance coverage and, miraculously, was able to get me scheduled right away with another dentist to do the required root canal procedure that was needed before further work could proceed. Two days later, despite the fact that Dr. Black had no openings in his schedule for more than a month, he and his assistant, Tina, worked after closing hours to do their magic and I walked out of the office the same evening with the gaping hole in my grin filled with a beautiful new crown.

I went for my first appointment at Timberhill Dental today and it was the best dentist experience of my life. Anne is amazing and fun, and she and Dr. Hickson were both very thorough and explained things well. I had more fun having my teeth cleaned than I knew was possible! The office staff were all very kind and helpful.

I have been to the office a few times now, once for my wisdom teeth removal, and each time the staff was energetic and welcoming. They helped me figure out some financial concerns with a one on one meeting about different resources that are available, AND they gave detailed explanations on what they were performing and why. I went in for a cleaning today, and it was such a great experience. I absolutely love going there!!

The staff at Timberhill Dental are always very professional and caring. I have been a patient for many years and trust Dr. Black and all of the staff to handle my dental needs.

I was new in town needing a dentist and stumbled across this amazing group.
I went for my first visit last week and now have an entirely new very high standard for any dentist office.
The office is very nice and clean. The staff are genuinely happy to be there and their pleasant moods radiate and you cant help but leave in an jubilant mood. The dentist was so nice and extremely thorough. She went over everything with me and explained things to me I never knew before because other dentists ignored them or just never thought it important to mention to me. There was even a tv in the room with me so while my teeth were getting cleaned I got to zone out and enjoy some shows. The tv also doubled to show me my xrays when the dentist was explaining things. I have never been so calm and comfortable at a dentist office before. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!!
I am all done and ready to leave and then I was given a gift card, supplies, a toy I picked out, and a cookie!! Like what in the heavens merry christmas business is this!? I LOVE IT! I would seriously love to go back next week! AND THEN!!! I got a card from them in the mail hand written and signed. I LOVE THIS TEAM! I have never felt so supported and appreciated for going to any business in my life.

Great team! Dr. Black is the best dentist I have ever had. His office has really great employees as well. Once you start going there it’s like you belong to a family. I highly recommend this office!

Loved them so much! They always do an amazing job and Kurtis Black has some of the best bed side manner I have ever seen. Make sure to ask for Jaycee [J-C] as your hygienist! She is absolutely amazing and does a very detail oriented job and does it quick! Shannon at the front desk is always super nice and always has a smile on her face and something nice to say. Sandie is my absolute favorite! She is the BEST and I am so glad that she is a part of their team! She is very professional and has such a marvelous attitude for consulting!! Tina is so splendid and always gets my mouth guards or anything that I need so very fast. She also is great when assisting Dr. Black. This office is such a grandiose place. They decorate very well and their sitting area is always stocked with beverages and reading material. If you need a new dentist or not I would absolutely recommend giving them a call and setting up an appointment.

Dr Kurt Black and his staff are the most professional, cheerful and caring dental team I have had work on my teeth. I felt so safe with their hospital grade ventilation system, even though I was there for 3 hours. I really love the attention to detail that Dr. Black has with my teeth, asking my opinion and giving me pros and cons. I am very pleased with every aspect of Timberhill Dental and highly recommend them to everyone.

I have been a patient at Timberhill Dental for years and there are many reasons why I keep coming back. The staff are great; they are very kind, supportive, and attentive to my needs. They will fit me in if I have an emergency or adjustment and have helped me with many dental issues.
