Update to my review - recently had an appointment at the office and was VERY impressed with all the COVID safety measures that are in place. Love this dental office! I've never liked going to the dentist but I have to say that because of Dr. Black and his great staff, I actually look forward to my visit. They pamper me every time I'm there and make sure that I'm comfortable and well-cared for. He's also a great contributor to the Corvallis community - I see his name in the paper all the time for things he has done for different charities. The friends I have referred to this office are equally as pleased and thank me all the time for telling them about this office.

This was my first dental appointment in 16 months, due to the pandemic. Last week was my "two weeks post 2nd vaccination" date so I had made my appointment knowing that I could feel a bit safer being "unmasked" during this visit. The Timberhill Dental staff were all very polite, kind and understanding about why I waited so long to return. They adhered to the highest level of infection control standards for my entire visit. They made me feel welcome and safe. I appreciate everyone who works at Timberhill Dental!

I had a 3 hour dental appointment to put two perfect crowns on my two front teeth. They did a wonderful job; color, shape, and process was smooth. Tina and Dr. Black are the best team. They tell you what they are doing at every turn. Usually when you get a crown they send the xrays out to a lab and they prepare the crown. Timberhill Dental now does everything in one appointment. I am so happy and pleased with the outcome. Outstanding job!!!!!

I personally love going to the dentist, and I have had many great dentists over the years. But I've been going to Timberhill Dental for just under a year and every experience has been the best! The facility itself feels like a spa and the people who work there genuinely care about as a person. When the time comes when you need to have more than the routine cleaning done, they break down the costs and provide options that make it easier to take care of your dental health. It is clear that all the employees love working there and just want what is best for your dental health. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Wonderful team. I always feel welcomed, cared for, and comforted. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. I went into my first appointment today, absolutely terrified of dental offices. I have had several negative experiences in other offices, lots of work to be done, and I think it showed. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me like family. They were good, kind people in an office that felt like a resort. They checked in on me throughout my experience, and never started doing something without telling me. I've already called in and booked my next two visits.
Truly, if you're worried about the dentist like I was, this is the place for you.

Always mindful of my worries, fears, comfort and wellbeing, Dr. Black (and his team) works tirelessly to listen to my concerns and to what I want. He takes the time to explain my options and only promotes what is necessary, respecting my time and resources. True artisans, Dr. Black and Tina first crafted three crowns, then an additional eight crowns for my top teeth back to front. With great care, precision and attention to every detail – the shape, size, fit, color and bite of each crown, they replaced very old and failing dental work. My need was an emergency and it was taken care of immediately. The whole experience of having the tooth repaired was very positive. HOWEVER, an office person came in to tell me the procedure was going to cost $480, a lot for what took 30 minutes, but what could I do? When I went to pay at the end, the bill was $600!! $120 had been added for "exam," which took less than a minute. Clearly their office rates need to be more reasonable.
