This is the best dental experience I've ever had. They did a very thorough cleaning and spent at least 2 hours. It felt like I had totally different teeth and they weren't even sore later. Everything was explained to me, the water was warmed up multiple times so it wouldn't cause sensitivity, and the hygenist even sent me a card that indicated to me she remembered our conversation beyond dental issues. What a caring thorough place, I will only ever go here and recommend to anyone.

Dr. Adams is good about coming in, looking you straight it the eyes, and really finding out how you are doing. I have been to other dentists who have been rushed, rough, and I truly felt the effects of this "wham, bam, thank you, ma'am" approach. When Dr. Adams works on me, he is slow and deliberate as he works. He is mindful of being gentle, thorough, and making sure to treat enough of the tooth to take care of the problem, but not doing so much that it damages healthy parts of the tooth. Overall my experiences have been positive with Dr. Adams.
One area that could improve is the following: I have had two previous dental implants placed by other dentists. Both of whom offered sedation and nitrous oxide. The one thing Dr. Adams could improve on is to allow sedation for implants. I requested nitrous oxide, but only the oxygen was not turned on until the dentist actually started working on me. And, even then, it was not nearly strong enough to even take the edge off the procedure. I have never had a dentist wait that long to administer the nitrous oxide. The idea, I believe, is to help the patient relax BEFORE you start working on them...especially for placing an implant. If I were to need another implant, I would make sure the dentist and I are on the same page regarding sedation and nitrous oxide. If this were to improve, I could easily say it was excellent.

Harvard Dental Group is awesome! I love my new smile that Dr. Adams gave me. I had crowns done and one veneer put on my front teeth. I work with the public a lot and I get so many compliments on my smile! I have so much self confidence about my smile now. Before I had my dental work done, I didn't smile very much because of my bad teeth. Now people call me Smiley or Sunshine because I smile so much! Thank you Dr. Adams......you are wonderful. The receptionists and dental hygenists are also wonderful! I highly reccomend Harvard Dental Group! :)

Very competent people made for a great experience. Best part of a bad situation; I needed a crown made. They cleaned out the old crown, fixed the cavity, and took a wand of some sorts that made measurements of my tooth. A short time later the crown was ready, having been made by a computer assisted machine in their office. Once the fit was verified, it went in to get hardened. Half an hour later I was done. No need to go back for a fitting, no temporary crown, etc. Love their use of technology to make dentistry a better experience.

Good dentistry is gentle, experienced, artistic, knowledgeable and patient. You will get all of that at this clinic. I've never had as good a fit with the new crown as the work they did.
It was a delight to find that they do not use novocaine--like many I'm allergic to it. The equipment is state-of-the-art, including being able to make a crown and install it, within 2-3 hours. You walk out totally done, because a computer system makes it in the back room while you wait. Cool beans!
If I could give them 20 stars, I would!

Okay! I've had my dental appointment...Well, it turned out just as I thought! My dental appointment went just beautifully! I am a scaredy cat and I won't go into the details of what happened when I was a little girl held down in the dentist's chair while he drilled my tooth until it was hot! That experience fixed me into a scaredy cat when it comes to dental appointments. But Dr. Adams, with his considerate demeanor and a little nitris oxide, made my appointment very tolerable. They took an impression in case they needed to put in a temporary crown, but as it turned out, they were able to save my tooth and a crown was not necessary. I appreciate their integrity. And the attitude in the office starts at the top with Dr. Adams and is reflected throughout the staff. Actually...a pleasant experience.

Time for my cleaning, exam and x-rays. Looking for a new dentist that doesn't want an arm and a leg. Couldn't be better. I got a tour, gifts, and great service. The price was the best in town. I know because I called every dentist I could find in the phone book before I made my appointment. Cara did a great job cleaning my teeth and taking my x-rays. I'll be back in 6 months for my next cleaning.
