12/05/2022 @ Dove Family Dentistry - BARTLETT
I called Dove Bartlett Denstry for an appointment to take care of three (3) issues. Was told that I did not need an appointment -come on in by 11am.
When in exam room #6, I mentioned all three issues. In a rude tone, The dental tech stated "NO! You will not be getting a cleaning today." 😔.
Strike 1:
While on the exam table, I was asked by the office assistant mgr/clerk to pay $315 CASH or GO get the cash and come back. Reason given: her credit card machine was not working. I asked to be billed or to pay online. Suddenly , the credit card machine started working. ✔️
Strike 2:
Next, Dr Azab gave me a double root canal without enough anesthesia. 😢. After numbing, I waited 40 minutes before the procedure started. Also, I Was told by the dental tech female that after the first root removal that there was a second root; that's why The procedure hurt me. I asked what did the X-RAY show Before this surgery? The PAIN was HORRIFIC. I have never experienced such pain with my other root canals performed by an Endodontist.
All I can remember “ Are you ready? Chin up”…. And he dug right in twirling and digging like there was no end.
Also cold air and cold water were purposely held on my sensitive teeth for a long time. I guess no one cared enough to read my conditions printed on my paperwork. Why ask in the first place. PTSD ….
Strike 3:
During the entire visit, I asked at least five times about the estimate on my 2nd issue. Was told the Doctor will Ck it. The Doctor Never did.
Dental tech told me I could leave. I ran to the front desk. No service summary, No aftercare instructions, and No future appointments were given; just paper prescriptions. I had to ask for a summary of what services were rendered.
I left baffled and heartbroken 💔. I Was looking for a new Dentist family but was ran away. Well Good Riddens. .
This business does require the online input of your full Social Security number. Not good. Cash demands and SSN just unbusinesslike in 2022. I believe I was intentionally hurt because I had no cash to give. Bye!

I had a terrible experience there it took way too long I made an appointment on a Saturday a month in advance I arrive early for my 10:00 appointment seen at 11 and I'm told that the dental hygienist won't be able to clean my teeth for another hour. Who wants to be at the dentist for 3 hours for a cleaning.

They make sure you don't have any pain during your treatment. Fillings or Root Canals. Before giving the injections for the numbing agent, they numb the area. My jaw always was sore for 2 to 3 days after a filling or root canal. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't after my first time. They also explain everything that is going to happen. I would recommend them to any body who needs a new dentist. They also work with your budget. I had been to several Dentist before this and they were the first ones to offer a treatment plan and financial plan for it.😄😄😄

I was so impressed by this office. Everyone was so cordial, and professional. I also didn't sense any bias due to my medical history as well. Ms. Frances was excellent, even though I was in pain, she was so patient, and continually encouraged me that it was all okay 👍👍👍. Dr. Mena was very proficient and truly nice. I will be making them my dental office. After this experience, I will never allow myself to be so careless about my dental health.

I have a return appointment on Thursday for the cleaning . More information. Will be shared on my next visit. Doctor Did not introduce himself nor did the other staff.. The young lady that did my x ray was very kind spoken and very patience. I would recommend to other. After my first. I did not see any license . On the walls will check next visit.

I went to this place last year, not sure of date, I believe it was in May 2021. I will NEVER go there again, I don't know if they understand English or not, the services I was given was terrible. I went there to get teeth cleaned and to have a partial made for bottom, I NEVER got my teeth cleaned, they kept saying the hygiene person was not there several times and the partial they made was terrible that I cannot wear it, it is still uncomfortable after several months and adjustments, I finally had to go somewhere else and get another one made. I did let them know that was not what I asked for when choosing what material I wanted for the partial. I feel like I should be refunded for the partial that I cannot use. I wanted to give this practice ZERO STARS.

I highly recommend. My first time being at a dentist since a child. I needed to be seen and the availability was perfect and the staff is wonderful. Very polite and caring. I think I found my new office.
