I am naturally scared of going to the dentist but @ American Family Dentistry on Kirby, the people at the front desk are pleasant but Tanisha the technician keeps me coming back. I can talk to her for hours and she make me feel comfortable. Very beautiful person inside and out. Dr. Ballard is always nice and personable.

My tech is ALWAYS ALWAYS thorough and nice. The dentist is a little rough, but that didn’t take away from the experience much. But should be noted for improvement.
Edit: Saw a new Dentist. Dr Ballard today and he was AWESOME!! Hattie is also really sweet and thorough. I highly recommend.

I love American Family Dentistry! Never a long wait! Front desk staff are professional and Tina is the best! Shes very thorough and does an awesome job with making sure my teeth are clean and healthy! Highly recommend!

I had an appointment scheduled 11/23/22 at 10 AM. At 9:41 AM on the day, I received a call that they would have to reschedule, literally as I was on my way to their office. Annoyed at the unprofessionalism and how far out the next appointment would be, I should've just found a new dentist then, but I agreed to the rescheduled day of 1/10/23 at 1PM. On 1/9/23 around 4PM, I receive a call asking if I would come in at 3 instead of 1. I agree, but then 15 minutes later they call back and give some excuse about the hygienist no longer working there and rescheduled me to 3/27/23. I'm definitely not waiting just to be rescheduled again.
