Had an excellent cleaning today. Everyone at AFD are so friendly and easy to deal with. I used to dread going to my old dentist but now I'm totally comfortable. It's hard to believe how much more comfortable and stress free my visits have been. Either the staff is exceptional or they have a nitrous leak. Either way, I'll be coming back for a long time.

Dr Brown and his staff are amazing. As someone who has a fear of dental procedures, he took the time to make sure I was comfortable and knew exactly what was happening. From being greeted as soon as you enter, to the check out experience, the entire office staff are friendly and professional. I have had other dentists in Knoxville and none compare to Dr Brown and associates. They are top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great experience! Dr. Brown is so kind and went above and beyond to meet my son’s needs for his appointment today. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my Fiance since he rarely leaves reviews. He was needing an immediate extraction, and was terrified of the dentist due to a previous bad experience. He was impressed with the work of Dr.Brown and was so glad the extraction was quick and professional (with very minimal pain). The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there was a hiccup with scheduling the initial appointment, but after that got straightened out everything went great.

I just had my first appointment and everyone was very nice and welcoming. I feel they care about their patients. I am excited to keep working with them on my dream smile.

Fantastic service. Went for a broken tooth and after anesthesia they worked on the affected portion of the tooth, took measurements using state of the art technology with nice 3d images and they ordered the crown to a place in NY. Then they worked on the temporary crown, that fits very well. In 4 weeks the real crown will come. Crossing fingers!

Dr. Brown is the best. Always so sweet and kind! We have been going since my kids were babies and now they are adults. We love him!!! The staff are just as sweet as him!

This was a new dentist for me. This review is regarding my visit in Sept. of 2022. This was the second worst dentist's office experience of my life. Dr. Brown was nice, but his staff left a lot to be desired. The receptionist would not look up, much less greet me when I walked in the office. The hygienist, while very polite, traumatized me by lowering my head below my feet and continuing to put liquids in my mouth which, if I wanted to breathe, kept going down my windpipe. When I explained what was happening, no adjustment was made, and at the end, I was topped off with an entire cup of mouthwash while in effect upside down. Then he asked me to swish it around and spit in the cup ("like a fountain, I'm thinking?") Meanwhile, I'm holding my breath so I don't drown. Long story short, my teeth were very clean, but I couldn't wait to find a different dentist after I got home. Five months later, I get a bill for almost $200 in the mail (as if my insurance didn't pay it). I verified with my insurance that the bill had been paid in full and I owed nothing. Simple office mistake? I think not. Horrible experience.

Both of my boys have been going to AFD in Knoxville for 7 years. Everyone is always so nice & my boys don’t dread going or even having baby teeth pulled because the ladies are so wonderful and make them feel comfortable. My 15 year old with braces likes their cleaning better than his ortho. You can be sure your kids will not be scared without you & will change their mind about the dentist if you make this your dentistry!

The staff was very friendly and efficient, especially Gina, your hygienist, who made a stressful situation much more pleasant. We had a great conversation while she cleaned my teeth and it surely eased my anxiety. She also did a great job. Thanks, Gina.
