I made an appointment for a cleaning and checkup and was given a price which I agreed upon. The day before my appointment, I got a call from the office telling me that my cleaning was going to cost 3 times as much as they had originally told me. We are talking about hundreds of dollars. It’s not right to treat people like this. They didn’t care though.

Wonderful staff, office is nice, and Dr. Wilson is very caring and down-to-earth. They took great care of me, and I am more than willing to drive past 15 other dentist offices during the half hour it takes to get there.

I’ve been going to AFD for about 2 years, and I really like them. They are always quick and efficient. Every dental hygienist has been great, and the dentist is great too. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a friendly nice place to call your dentist home:).

Wonderful team! I have not been to the dentist in 5 years, because I moved here from out of town and put off finding a good dentist office in town. Well let me tell you, the whole staff at American Family Dentistry at 5270 Poplar was a dream. The forms you can fill out online, my wait on the lobby was very short, Abbi my hygienist was very gentle during my cleaning, and explained everything thoroughly. She explained how my insurance would be applied to my bill too. Dr. Patterson was utterly professional and personable. So grateful I finally found a dentist team in Memphis!
