Austin Advanced Dentistry

I originally began Invisalign treatment at this office under Dr. Davis when it was Lakecreek Family Dental. I was on a first name basis with the staff who were lovely and worked through tough covid scheduling with me as best as they could. Ever since Dr. Davis retired my experience here has been horrible. The staff is in constant turnover and many have been rude to me. For example, one told me that my Invisalign results were due to my ineptitude and not due to scheduling issues during covid, which honestly shouldn't even matter as I hadn't even had experience with that employee before that day. I have since moved away from this area but continue to come here to finish my Invisalign treatment. It is a long drive and unfortunately I have had so many issues with my appointments that is it getting more and more frustrating to return.

I was scanned for my retainer over a month ago and received a call weeks ago to schedule an appointment to remove my attachments and get my retainer. When I arrived today I was told the retainer hadn't even been delivered to the office, that the person who scheduled my appointment didn't work there and instead worked for a third party who isn't cleared to schedule ortho appointments. Despite the fact that no one from the office caught this scheduling error or checked my appointment prior to my arrival to call me to reschedule in advance, I was told that instead I should always ask if the person who has called me to schedule an appointment has clearance to do so. The failure to properly schedule and prepare for appointments should not fall on the patient who has no prior knowledge of your in office processes. This is only one example of what has been a major headache to deal with.

I have asked numerous times how to file formal complaints only to be talked in circles out of it, so I am posting this review publicly instead. I'm only rating it 2 stars and not less because Dr. Saxena is really nice and a good dentist. I will not be returning to this office once my ortho treatment is completed.

My dentist visit was amazing. Everyone was very polite, very professional. I really enjoyed my visit. When I come across people I will be very delighted to let them know about Austin Advanced Dentistry. I am very pleased that I had chosen this dentistry it was the best choice I ever made. All smiles upon my face.

The staff at the Lake Creek Austin Advanced Dentistry are always so welcoming and friendly. On my last visit for a procedure, they kept me informed of what they would doing as well as making sure I was feeling no discomfort during the procedure. I always feel comfortable going to them for my dental needs.

I was a longtime patient of Dr Davis that turned over his book of clients to the new practice. I have had good experiences with my exams and cleanings on my visits several times a year. I am glad that they became a preferred provider for my insurance again like it was with the prior dentist. I am grateful for the quick resolution to my billing issue and have edited my review to reflect the satisfaction.

Had two fillings recently and the rice sure went swiftly and well. Staff are super friendly. Excellent work and will be continuing to use them as my care provider.

My family and I have been going to Lake Creek family dental for over 20 years. The practice has recently transitioned from Dr. Don Davis to a new dentist, Dr. Saxena.

We are looking forward to many more years of the same kind of service under new ownership.

The front office staff is amazing, and my favorite hygienist has made the transition with the change in ownership.

The building is beautiful, the lobby super comfortable (including comfortable furniture and a fireplace in the lobby), equipment is state of the art, and the care is top notch.

The only thing we miss besides Dr. Davis is the coffee maker - sad to see that’s no longer available...😢

PURE AMAZING!!! The whole staff is friendly! They told me what was best and gave me options. They are very reasonable on prices with top tier services! They advice what they can do for me rather than what they can’t and did all within power to meet my needs, in which was meet! Highly recommended! If I could I would give them 10 starts!!!!!

I went to this practice 3 separate times for dental work this year. I was a little frustrated then I was only told on the last visit about a bad cavity I have, when I was supposed to have had a thorough exam during my first visit. Another thing that bothered me was that I was given a quote to correct dental work that another dentist at this practice had performed on me in 2019. I don’t understand why it wasn’t done correctly the first time. I did however appreciate that during each visit I was asked how the work performed the previous visit had held up.
I do have to give a huge shout out to Tiara though (my favorite part of the visits). She has such a kind and friendly person which made sitting in the dental chair for hours much more enjoyable.

I was uneasy about implants. Dr.Wheeler and the staff clearly outlined my options and made me feel at ease. Most of all they made me feel like they actually cared about me and my needs & to me that was everything. I look forward to seeing them for all my future work. I highly recommend them.

I went there to get an assessment and estimate for the cosmetic dentistry I need done, and the entire experience was excellent. Everyone on the staff was welcoming, warm and informative. The estimate was less than I expected. I now plan on Dr. Saxena doing the work.
