Brushy Creek Dentistry

I came to Dr. Brandon's office after several years of not going to the dentist. I had apprehension going into the consult because of my previous negative experiences with a couple of dentists in the past where they would not listen to my issues or did shoddy dental work on my teeth that needed corrected. I was looking for a dentist that I could trust that would be kind, transparent, and informative of the dental work I needed and gentle with my mouth and not pressure me to fix everything all at once. I had a wonderful, gentle dentist back home in Ohio that was one of the best dentists I ever had and have not found anyone like him here in Austin, until now. Dr. Brandon and his staff were so friendly and caring, the moment I walked in the door. During our consult, Dr. Brandon was very empathetic and understanding of my past situations with dentists and was thorough and transparent about my treatment plan and what work needed prioritized first and that there would be no pressure to get everything done. They would work with me on the timing of when I would want to do the work. It was so refreshing to have this type of care from Dr. Brandon and his office staff. I look forward to my next dental work steps. I can't recommend Dr. Brandon and his office enough! Thank you!

I unfortunately have very sensitive and weak teeth which has resulted in me spending a good amount of time in different dentist offices throughout my life. I have been pushing off going to the dentist for several reasons but after I met Brandon Johnson at Victory City Church, we then went golfing and him and I connected. Brandon is a unique individual who demands excellence in everything he does with an attitude that l invites you to lean in. That same energy and pursuit of excellence was felt from the moment I opened the doors to Brushy Creek Dentistry. I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with smiles and greetings. Within moments I was invited back into their beautiful state of the art facility. Everything had a place and everyone knew their role. This office was ran seamlessly. Every single doctor and assistant I experienced was top notch. I was comfortable the entire time and every step was explained thoroughly. Brandon’s pursuit of excellence is evident in his personal life and his professional. Life is all about surrounding yourself with the right people and these are the right people.

Brushy Creek Dentistry is a great place! The entire staff is very friendly and remember small details about me and my husband to add a personal touch. They are also very thorough by having someone text to schedule and remind about appts. The clinic is very clean and organized. Will definitely keep coming here for my dentistry needs!

This was my first visit to Brushy Creek Dentistry, and I cannot speak more highly of the doctors and the staff members there. Dr. Brandon Johnson and Sylvia (the hygienist) were amazing, very thorough and informative, and they let you know every step of the way what’s going on so there were no surprises. He's very clear about what's possible and what's not; he's also very calm. Just that, I wish they would use my insurance allowance only, minus the high copay for the deep cleaning as well. I'm happy to be a new client here.

A great experience all around. The staff was very friendly the hygienist was great and Dr. Johnson was very welcoming and made me feel like a part of the process. This was the first time I had been to a dentist where I did not walk out in pain or annoyed. I will be telling my friends and family that this is the office that you would want to go to even if you drive over and hour away. I can’t say how surprised I was, I feel like we are all preconditioned to hate the dentist but after almost 30 years that has changed for me. This is my first review of anything I don’t normally review things but I think having a good dentist is worth it.

I initially left a more general review but after having completed several procedures and spending more time with the staff, I'd like to give a formal review:

Brushy Creek Dentistry is /the place/ to be for dental wellness. I had not been to a dentist in almost 10 years prior to visiting. I was still treated with respect, patience and kindness. Brandon Johnson is approachable, relatable, but most of all, truly dedicated to what he does. This energy obviously translates to the staff, who, from reception to dental assistants, has fantastic demeanor. For someone with a true phobia of dentistry like I have, an environment like this is unmatched.

On top of that, you can call or text the 9200 number and actually get a response!! I was able to determine whether BCD would accept my insurance over text/email before even having to schedule an appointment! They really care about making sure you're doing what's best for you.

Aside from the personal aspect of my experience with them, I have been surprised each time at how efficiently the team that works with me can perform. My procedures have been relatively speedy and I am currently experiencing no pain or sensitivity after my work. To be honest, I don't know what more you can ask for from a dental experience.

For the first time in my whole life, I can look in the mirror and feel confident in the smile I'm putting out into the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Brushy Creek Dentistry.

Didnt need much work done, but Dr. Brandon and his staff were exceptional. Very attentive and thorough, while describing all my options without being pushy on treatments I didn't need.

I'd highly recommend Brushy Creek Dentistry to anyone. Quality work done in a calm setting by caring people.

Dentist is pretty cool and honest. No pressure to have my children do any extra work on their teeth. Dental hygienist are patience with my children and answered all their questions. Receptionist are nice. Added bonus snacks and water for the children are available. Only complaint was no kids toothbrush/floss for the kiddos. But that’s minor. Overall would highly recommend this dental office.

Dr. Brandon and his staff are top notch!! No joke...everyone from the reception desk to the team in the exam rooms are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. From beginning to end, my experience has been nothing short of exceptional! I'm only upset that I didn't find them sooner. They made me feel comfy, not so anxious (talked to me the whole way through my procedure), and most importantly I didn't feel rushed into doing anything I didn't want to.

Also, special shout out to Sylvia, the dental assistant. She's so calm and patient and comforting!

This is the best dentist in Austin! Dr. Brandon and his team are all amazing to work with. They are helpful, kind, and extremely professional and answered any questions that I had. They also have a wonderful office space that is very clean and tidy. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a great dentistry in Austin!
