Went to The Incredible Dr Tan again today. The dreaded root canal......Not one bit of pain! Absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to. I have had problems with the staff before but none at all today. Once again...Dr Tan is simply the BEST! M Brown

Had my first visit on Saturday and got a deep cleaning & 4 extractions per my orthodontist all in under 2 hours. Everyone was great & very kind. The ladies at the front helped me figure out my insurance stuff quickly and were quick to help in taking my mom as a walk in where she too was able to get a deep cleaning. Jesse was awesome! He did a wonderful job and kept us informed the whole time. Will definitely be returning and recommending to all.

I'm relatively new to the area and visited the Dentists Studio on the recommendation of my wife. The appointment consisted of the initial exam and a cleaning. It was vastly unlike *any* medically-related appointment I've ever experienced-dentist or not. I've lived in four states and have had varying experiences, but this easily takes the cake.

The office is clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were very professional, and attentive which made me feel comfortable. Overall I'm very happy, and will be going back soon to have more work done. Great place, highly recommended.

This review delves more into the staff and their lack of professional courtesy. Dr. Tan does wonderful work but his staff (office managers, assistant manager, and techs.) overshadows that work. I had a very frustrating experience with their assistant office manager Evelyn. When I asked for her last name to note in my complaint her response was "I don't have to give you my last name". She also would not let me talk to the dentist to share with him her lack to professionalism and poor customer service. When I called back to see if I could speak to the Dr. the receptionist who witnessed the encounter couldn't apologize enough for our experience. I would also caution you on how your are billed. Be sure to verify with your insurance the amounts that you are charged. I had to dispute an amount for a crown of over 500.00 for dental work that I was NOT suppose to pay which they reluctantly refunded under the guise of "courtesy credit". They will use misleading terms such as "your insurance underpaid" or "your insurance did not cover the expense of services" ALWAYS verify with your insurance. It's unfortunate that Dr. Tan may not know what they are doing and by reading some of these reviews how many clients he has lost. Or maybe he does,, who knows? Try a different dentist if you can.

This is easily the best dentist office I have ever been to. I got some x-rays, evaluation and teeth cleaning done. Facilities were clean, and well kept. The various staff member I interacted were absolutely friendly and awesome. They explained the various options I had, and gave me estimates of exactly what each procedure would cost. The Doctor explained what he saw in the X-ray by projecting the image on a TV screen. He was very thorough, despite being swamped with various emergencies in the office. I highly recommend this place.

After reading some reviews commenting about the rude staff, I was worried. I am so glad I gave a shot because I had a great experience. The staff was very professional and the Dr. Tan was very kind and give me a lot of clarity to my problem.

I normally don't give any reviews but this doctor really does deserve it.
So I needed lots of work done period cause iam scared of dentist, and well lets just say I will continue to have this dentist do all my work and I highly recommend him. I would like to also thank all the staff really , a business owner my self customer service is #1 always and they went over and beyond. Thanks again doctor love liza C

I have had a dull pain & headaches for a while. Last Wednesday (9/2/20) my teeth were “icing” & slight pain. As week progressed it was getting worse. I desperately tried to get an appointment with dentists but It was hopeless “Labor Day” vacation 😳. All of a sudden I thought “I wonder if there is an ER Dentistry around”? So I went the trusted Google & found “Xpress Dental’, got an appointment for 9/6. They called Saturday with a noon cancelation, I stormed over. Was nervous because of “I wonder what place is this” + I’m petrified of dentists.

Come to find out. wonderful staff upfront. I was in a room within 10 minutes. Immediate xrays & Dental Assistant took a few more in room. Then the doc, what a kind & understanding DDS (Dr. Tan is). I chose to pull out my broken tooth & get an implant later. The dental Assistant assured me you won’t feel any pain just a thump & it was true.

Let me tell you there’s nothing to be afraid of at Xpress Dental! I couldn’t feel a darn thing when Dr. Tan pulled the tooth out. More, I never felt any pain post “surgery” either. I slept great & today Sunday I have no pain whatsoever.

Inconsiderate and rude staff
I had called in two days prior for a tooth issue and on the phone they stated that they would be able to see me and work on my tooth issue. Once I arrived one of the front staff members was ready to charge me co pay when the other staff member had to tell them that everything was covered. Soon after they wanted to add more services and I refused. Well it seemed they were upset because I only wanted the work I requested done that they started adding more charges from which they did not tell me in the beginning. Keep in mind that every visit they will charge you $30 so that they staff can buy their masks and materials for COVID-19 at patients expense and they did not inform me over the phone or even give me the option to agree. In addition when they took my x-rays I kept telling them that it was very hurtful and instead of taking it easy they were doing it even harder and the inside of my mouth was ripped and bruised as a consequence. I also was almost not given my procedure due to me complaining on how I did not appreciate how they were giving me additional charges and on how they were hurting my mouth. They wanted to set me up with additional appointments which included extra charges, until I told them that they had guaranteed me that they could fix my tooth that very same day. After much arguments they were able to allow the Dr to see me. I feel so bad for that Dr. because even though he was very good the staff and assistants were the worst and he probably has no clue on how they treat the patients. I will be complaining to the BBB and looking over the many duplicates of billing they charged me with x-rays. If you want to be treated like an ATM disposal by all means that is the place to go. I do not recommend that place whatsoever and worst experience ever. The only reason I gave it a one star was because the dentist himself is the one who earned that star by being amazing. But it did come with a cost.
