Bluffdale Dental - Dr. David Babcock

Listen up people! I hate going to the dentist just as much as the next guy, but this place ain't bad! I was welcomed when I came in by the lovely receptionists, they were so nice and calling me by my name that it seemed like I had known them for years. Once it was my turn, I was greeted by Josh who would take me back to my chair. First, MASSAGE CHAIR? Deal, done, yes, sign me up. You can pick your own Netflix show to watch to calm your nerves so you don't have to cut time binging your fave show?? They definitely understand dental anxiety and are willing to accommodate your needs to the best of their abilities.

Now, let me tell you bout my mans, Josh. Is he America's sweetheart? Is he our national treasure? The answer to both questions is absolutely. He was keeping conversation rather well and it wasn't just that weird dentist small talk you get when they're expecting an answer when they're wrist deep in your mouth. At one point, he started dancing and singing to Jason Mraz, it was definitely great. He probably didn't think I noticed, but I be noticing things like that. He was just a delightful experience by himself! He also doesn't know this, but we are friends now, I don't make the rules.

I give Josh 7/5 stars. I give this office 5/5 stars. Go here, people! Tell them you read my review and thought you should give this place a shot.

We've been searching for a dentist that we can trust and gets the job done. We have finally found one that does this for us! Everyone there is super nice and informative. Josh was the assistant that worked on my teeth and he explained very well everything he was doing and then Dr. Wilde came in and was great as well! These guys are awesome!

I usually have terrible anxiety going to the dentist. Bluffdale Dental does a fantastic job helping me feel comfortable. Very family friendly and clean. Great atmosphere. My family will continue going to Bluffdale Dental.

It had been years since I saw a dentist, so I was very anxious about going. Everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable. I was afraid of being judged or treated bad for how much I’ve neglected my teeth, but they treated me with so much respect and focused on the positive things I have going with my teeth. I am looking forward to my next appointment and I’ve NEVER thought that about the dentist before. I would definitely recommend this office!

This is a completely new dental experience for me. I felt welcome from my first call with Bailey. They talk to you and greet you by name,give you a remote and let you control your own TV and help you to relax. My dentist was up at the front today and actually remembered what he did last time and asked me how I was feeling. Josh, the hygienist who worked on me today, took time to explain every process and I actually knew what the numbers they call out meant and why we floss our teeth (besides getting out food). It’s a very friendly helpful environment to be in.

Update: I honestly feel scammed from Bluffdale Dental. How they can justify to charge as much as they did I have no idea. I even had another Dentist look over my bill and he too was dumbfounded at what they charged.

Bluffdale Dental has nice friendly staff, and despite being so small their rooms are clean an welcoming. However their parking lot is way too small and there was no parking my first visit. Being off Redwood this was a big issue for me, as there were no other options close by.
Though its a nice office and friendly staff, expect to pay twice as much for your first visit then you would practically anywhere else. It was the most expensive cleanings I have ever had to pay for, and no the care wasn't any different then other places. We will not be going back.

I work at Arby's and so I was just taking payment from him in my drive through and he asked me how long I have had a broken front tooth for, I said for months I just havent had the money to fix it, he gave me his number and told me to schedule an appointment and stop by. I did as per his request. When I got there I was greeted by his receptionist who was very kind and welcoming. Filled out paperwork as one does during a new visit, and waited to be called back. The nurse that called me back was very friendly and inviting and told me about their chairs and how they inform their clients of everything that goes on through the procedure (they have massage dental chairs which I thought was very intriguing), i waited for a moment and Dr. Babcock walked towards me and greeted me with a friendly handshake and told me about how he was a doctor from if I remember correctly 2006 and how hes been so blessed by the community and how hes trying to give back to every one of us patients that come in and see him. They got started and started going to town on my tooth, I had a lot of decay within the root of my tooth and so they cleared that out within like 30 minutes, the next part I signed a consent form for the procedure of restoring my tooth, they explained to me how the numbing works and how the part of my mouth where the tooth was located was the most sensitive part of the mouth to numb, then they started the procedure on my tooth. They made sure I wasnt in any pain, they adjusted the instrument to restore the tooth when it was cutting into my gums, and after it was complete, I looked like a new me. Confidence was restored in me, and the procedure was done very inexpensively. I will be returning back to Dr. Babcock for any cleanings and any dental work I need in the future. He is a very experienced and kind dentist I have ever been to.

I never thought I would say the words “you have to go see my dentist!” But I have literally been telling everyone! I didn’t know going to the dentist could be a pleasant experience! I’ve been told at previous dentists that my nerves are “hard to find” and had to have multiple shots. Coming here I’ve had 3 filling done and every single time I was number with one try and I literally couldn’t feel a thing! They are also so quick and you get to watch Netflix while they work on you!!! Seriously awesome :) the dentist called afterword too to make sure everything felt good and normal :)

I never enjoyed going to the dentist until I went to Bluffdale dental. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgable. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. They always have your best interest in mind and are not just looking for ways to make money off you. I have been seeing them for almost two years and only have positive to say about them.

I dont think I could possibly say enough good things about Bluffdale Dental! I usually HATE going to the dentist, but had such a wonderful experience at Bluffdale Dental that it has changed my perception of dentist visits. Just to name a few great things about Bluffdale Dental:
1. The office staff is SO FRIENDLY. They have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and everyone is so kind and pleasant to work with.
2. They do an AMAZING job at describing what they are doing, why they do it, and how everything works. I learned more at my dentist appointment with them than I have in the last 29 years of life! I felt very educated and knowledgable about what was happening in my mouth and what I needed to do to maintain my oral health.
3. They have a massage dental chair and TVs on the ceiling! Enough said!
4. The facility was very clean, sanitary, and nice.
5. They were very efficient at getting my teeth cleaned and having the dentist look at my mouth in a timely manner.
6. Their 'teeth whitening club' is a great deal!
7. They do a great job at listening. I explained my past oral history and felt that they remembered and took note of everything I said. I felt heard and listened to- which is SO important to me.
8. At the end of the visit they gave me a goody bag- which was next-level sweet. Best part? It had a sheet with notes of our visit and what I can do at home. I didnt have to try to remember what we talked about after I left. It was already done for me!
9. They were GREAT with my kids. I have three kids, and they cleaned them all at the same time, which was above and beyond, making my time at the dentist much faster. My kids had a great time with the friendly staff and cant wait to go back.
