Bluffdale Dental - Dr. David Babcock

A truly exceptional experience!
My favorite part of this dentist office is how much they involve you in the findings and work that may need to be done. They show you the x-rays, even use a camera whose picture that you can see on the overhead screen so that it's not a mystery what they are talking about. I love the dentist's opinion that the best dentistry is none at all; dentists make money for doing services, so to meet an honest dentist that works conservatively is quite refreshing. Great for both adults and kids

As a doctor myself, I looked at my first experience with this office with a critical eye. I was very impressed with all the professional staff. Most dentists jump in the exam, peek in your mouth and their off to the next patient. Not this doctor. Dr Babcock and his staff made a significant effort to get to know me and my concerns. Also, I've never had such a thorough exam...ever! Very impressed.

I have had such good experiences with Bluffdale Dental! I go in once a month for ortho, and the team never disappoints! Dr. Wilde and the rest of the staff are always super friendly, really good at explaining what they are doing and helping me feel comfortable with the process.

Wow! Going to the dentist isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it should be. Bluffdale Dental is clean and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. The cute assistant Angie was sweet and kind while the hygienist Josh was welcoming, engaging, and gentle. Both were very knowledgeable and made the experience delightful.

I hate going to the dentist! I am a rabid anti- dentite, and yet I have found Dr. Babcock and his staff to be somewhere that I feel comfortable and able to seek the care I need due to a lifetime of avoiding care and procrastinating needed services. Dr. Babcock has always done an outstanding job of giving me advise and care that benefit my long-term health. I am truly grateful for the effort both he and his staff put into their job. They a professional in both their skills and their patient care. I highly recommend Blufffdale Dental.

**Update** On my initial review I raved about Bluffdale dental. They recently hired a new dentist. Upon seeing our family he said we ALL needed work. He said my husband needed sealants and fill a few small cavities. When I brought my children—he said each and every single one of us needed treatment amounting in 1000s of dollars. How interesting when his own partner had been seeing us and had not mentioned any of those things. Because of this we have chosen to leave the practice and find a new dentist. It is so important to be honest and have integrity. We lost trust in this practice.

I have trust issues when it comes to dentists. We moved to South Salt Lake almost three years ago and I prolonged finding a new dentist as long as possible. Eventually, the 45-minute drive became a burden and I was forced to find someone new.

I appreciate the conservative approach to the dentists. If it’s not broken they won’t force you to fix it. And in fact, I like this office better. The hygienist who helped me educated me on my teeth showing me live video close ups. She was so helpful and I feel like with the knowledge she gave me I can be more proactive with my health.

They accept my insurance. The wait is never long. They are small but have the tech. I don’t need a fancy office decorated to the hilt with all the bells and whistles. The office is clean and they do professional and high quality work.

Amazing staff. As a SAH mom I need to bring my kids with me to appointments— having prepared my best with snacks, toys, and our wagon for them to play in the staff still went out of their way to interact with them and make my kids smile. Grateful to not feel like I’m out of place.

I had my first appointment today, and I have to say I am BEYOND impressed!! They took great care to make sure that the environment was safe and clean, including taking my temperature at check-in. The staff were all so friendly—it was a pleasure to get to know them! I had Angie, Josh, and Dr. Wilde treat me today, and they all were just amazing!! I have zero complaints with my visit, and I actually look forward to going back for my next appointment!! Who else can say that about their dentist?!

I've been going here for a few years and always have a good experience! The employees are so kind and the wait has never been too long to get in to the chair (with a few exceptions but it's a dentist office, sometimes the person before you can take longer than expected, it happens!) Dr. Badcock and Dr. Wild are very friendly and always let me know exactly what's going on with my teeth if I've ever needed extra work other than a cleaning. They're very professional and pleasant to work with, they make going to the dentist a lot easier!

My family loves Dr. Babcock and all of the staff at Bluffdale Dental! As a mom of 4, I appreciate the peace of mind knowing that my kids are getting the best care at an affordable price.
