Bluffdale Dental - Dr. David Babcock

This is a very engaging staff that cares about your well-being! From Dana at the front desk to Dr. Stringham at the chair, they are always inquiring about your comfort, explaining the procedures as well as options. All the assistants are charming and so happy! The hygienist Josh explained all the services available with no pressure to commit. I am so glad to have found a dental office that has all the elements of AWESOME! Highly recommend them!

Updating this review. We had a bit of a hiccup with insurance/billing and they went the extra mile to make it right and keep us as patients. Nice to see a business that cares about retaining clients. We always had a good experience with the dental work we had done there!

Babcock Dental makes you feel like family. Every time I come in the door, I am greeted by name. I have always been in the chair on time, my comfort is their priority, and they are extremely helpful in explaining to me what I should be doing to improve my oral hygiene. They ask me about things I’ve mentioned months before, as if I just visited yesterday, and show genuine concern. There are many names to mention, but Dr. Babcock, Dr. Wilde, and Josh, are top notch. There are many dentists closer to me, but this practice is definitely worth the trip. Thank you.

Bluffdale Dental is my absolute favorite! Everyone is so kind and the environment is perfect for those that have anxiety, like me. Dr Stringham is the best dentist I have ever been too. I will never go to anyone else :)

Dr.Babcock is an exceptional dentist! He makes you feel very welcome and always makes sure you're comfortable. He genuinely cares about making sure he does everything he can to make you happy about your teeth and smile. The hygienists and assistants are also very welcoming and friendly. You can tell they all love their jobs and love helping the patients feel at home. I would highly recommend this office to anyone of any age.

Dr. Babcock is great. He does his job well and is very friendly. I started going to him because this is where my fiancé goes, but am staying because of his friendliness and quality. I mentioned I was getting married and told me he just had to get me a wedding gift. I would highly recommend Bluffdale Dental.

I have been extremely happy with Dr. Babcock and his staff - they are very friendly and accommodating. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist in the past, but they run their family in a very different way. They want you to be happy and comfortable and never push you to make a decision. They are upfront about anything that may cost additional and provide evaluations sheets for you to take home and look over while you decide.The night guard that they had made for me on my first visit has almost eliminated my headaches and has prevented more grinding and clenching at night.

This was my second visit to the office, it was great! I was greeted by name with a smile when I walked into the office. I hate getting my teeth cleaned, but the hygienist Jenni made it the most worry-free and painless dentist trip I have ever had. She was awesome! The massage chairs are a great touch. I definitely recommend Bluffdale dental for anyone who is looking. So glad I found them!

I moved and needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Babcock had good reviews and was close to my new location, so I scheduled a routine dental exam and cleaning with his office. The office was nice and the staff were friendly, but I felt the service/expertise of the staff was lacking. I have always had good teeth and have never had a cavity. During my visit to Dr. Babcock, he informed me that I supposedly had four cavities. This struck me as odd because my previous dentist had said my teeth had looked fine during my routine visit just six months earlier. Because of this I declined the fillings. Two weeks later, I decided to travel and get a second opinion from my childhood dentist. I showed him the x-rays Dr. Babcock's office took and he did not see any evidence or need for a filling let alone four fillings. It scares me to think I could have possibly had fillings done on good teeth. My childhood dentist also noted that there was still tarter buildup on the back of my teeth even though Dr. Babcock's dental hygienist had just cleaned my teeth two weeks prior, which makes me think the hygienist did not do a thorough job. Because of the above, I would not recommend going to this dental office.
Update: I went to a third dentist (who is now my permanent dentist) and he also found no evidence of cavities or need for fillings. I am very glad I decided to decline Dr. Babcock's recommendation to drill and fill four of my teeth.
