Bluffdale Dental - Dr. David Babcock

Bluffdale Dental is by far the best dental office I’ve ever been to. I have some of the worst dental anxiety and was put at ease immediately. I hadn’t seen a dentist in almost a decade because of my anxiety but started having a really bad tooth ache. They were able to get me in the same day (Friday) to address my pain and back in two days later (Monday) to permanently address the issue. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Because of how comfortable I am with them I’m gonna continue treatment and start going to the dentist in a regular basis. That says a lot because I didn’t see a dentist in nearly 10 years.

If you’re anything like me and suffer from major dental anxiety Dr Babcock and his staff will put you at ease from that first phone call.

Before I became a regular patient with Dr. Babcock, I was seeing another local dentist for about 6 years. Since I started going here, the very professional and extremely nice staff have saved my teeth from my previous provider's rather shoddy work. I was never a big fan of the dentist as most people aren't. I've changed that tune since I really started to take care of my teeth. Now, I view the dentist as important as my physician or any other health provider. The office is always so friendly and the amenities are world class. Massaging exam chairs, TV above with netflix accompanied by modern methods and equipment. I am always satisfied when I visit. The location right next to my parents house is very nice as well. I can't recommend Dr. Babcock enough. If you value your teeth and oral health, then please pay him a visit.

Love Dr. Babcock and his staff! I've been seeing him for years. He always takes care of me and my husband and is very patient with how picky we are, haha. He doesn't try to over diagnose either - he genuinely wants to help. I've saved lots of money since we started seeing him!!

We've honestly never been happier with a dentist! I've referred many people over to him as well and they all seem to love him too! 👍🏼👍🏼😃 You won't be disappointed! 😉

I love Bluffdale Dental! Iv seen quite a few different dentists and these guys top all of them! The environment is awesome and the chairs give you a massage! Josh did my last cleaning and he was fast smooth and very gental especially while flossing which usually is the worst part for sure! Thanks for always being awesome guys!

Dr Babcock and his team are simply fantastic. I had a tooth break unexpectedly, and they made the time to see me that day even though I was not a patient. Turned out that an implant was the way to go, and when I returned for that procedure, it was discovered that my root was especially challenging to extract for several reasons. Dr Babock and his dental assistant (so sorry I missed her name, she was also wonderful) kept a good attitude and were super sympathetic as they worked away on my difficult extraction for over an hour. It was a TON of work for them, but they never seemed frustrated and did their best to make a pretty lousy experience as comfortable as possible. If I were in Dr Babcock's shoes, I'd have been extremely crabby by the end of all of that, but he was as positive as could be.

To top it all off, Dr Babcock gave me a call on his way home from the office that day to check in, and to say I did a good job (he did all the work). These folks genuinely care about their patients.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. My tire went flat on my car and Dr. David Babcock drove to his house and got me his air compressor! If you want a dentist who is amazing and actually cares for his patients, then this is it! He is highly skilled and highly recommended!

Dr. Babcock’s office is wonderful! They were able to accommodate my schedule and see me after I got off work. My visit was quick and painless due to the skill and methods they use in their office. They had my cavity taken care of and I was out the door in time to cook dinner for my family.

I spent over 5000k to have my veneers replaced. The shade is the wrong color. It was not the color I picked. When I called to inform them that the lab had the wrong color I was told they could replaced but I would have to pay an additional 900$ to have the color changed. Excuse me?! Uhh you are the ones that messed up. Every dentist I have spoke to since then has told me they always guarantee their work, including if the lab messes up, now I have gray teeth, 3 one shade slightly different then then the other. What a joke. I do not recommend this dentist for anything but fillings! Thanks Dr Babcock and staff for charging me thousands of dollars to be unhappy with your work. The entire thing was a joke. I feel like these people care more about your money then you.

A Bluffdale Gem!

Because of a missed flight back to Salt Lake City, I had to reschedule my first appointment at Bluffdale Dental. It was worth the wait.

I got to my resheduled 8 AM appointment a little early. A snow storm was just starting. I texted them from the parking lot. How convenient is that? My text said "I am here. Are you open yet?" An immediate response said "We are open, but in a meeting right now. You are welcome to come in to fill out paperwork."

After just 30 seconds inside Bluffdale Dental, I knew this was going to be a great place. The staff, including Dr. Babcock, warmly greeted me. I apologized for disturbing their meeting, and they dimissed my concern. The meeting was nearly over. I started on the paperwork.

Just based on the paperwork, I could tell that this dental office had highly trained personnel, considered all kinds of symptoms that could be clues indicating dental or health problems, and offered modern treatments.

My time with the initial hygienist was quite valuable. Not only were the baseline investigative procedures (digital x-ray, etc.) painless, I was educated along the way. Dental professionals with whom I have engaged in the past rarely explained my dental health in such detail. This better understanding really helped me to evaluate suggested future treatments.

The second hygienist and Dr. Babcock were equally gentle, competent, and informative.

A bonus was the big picture window in the office. I got to enjoy a view of the tumultuous snow storm all while staying warm.

Dr. Babcock and his staff were a joy to spend time with and I am confident this competent and friendly team will successfully address my dental health challenges.

I highly recommend Bluffdale Dental.

I’ve been going to Dr. Babcock’s office for 3 or 4 years now. I’ve always had a positive experience with every visit. From the assistants to the Hygienists to Dr. Babcock himself, they are always professional and friendly. It’s readily apparent that they have my care as their number one priority. Unfortunately my visit took a little longer than anticipated the other day. Dr. Babcock and a couple others apologized for the delay, but I just figured that this happens in the course of running a dental practice from time to time.
No big deal, right? Obviously not to Dr. Babcock and his staff. He comped me on my fluoride treatment. I was surprised and impressed that they were so thoughtful. But then today I get a card in the mail apologizing for the long wait during my visit and expressing appreciation for my patience. They even included a gift card!
They are proving to me that it has been worth it to keep going there for my dental care, even since moving 20-25 mins away. Can’t say enough good about Dr. Babcock and his staff!
